Spring is here finally, and we all know what that means! Spring Cleaning! Going through everything in the house and ridding of the winter clothes and pulling out the spring and summer clothes!

We recently moved, so it was 10x harder than just spring cleaning. I liked the house, but the people who lived in it before us OBVIOUSLY didn’t know how to clean the bathtub or the tile that went around it.
I was disgusted at first thinking that I wouldn’t be able to get the black, grimy scum off the tile and tub. I was thinking to myself “There is no way that I can give my kids a bath in THAT.”
The first move-in day was spent cleaning and repainting everything. Adam was painting while I scrubbed everything down. I sprayed this CLR Bath & Kitchen Multi-Surface Cleaner in the bathtub and on the tile and let it sit for about 10 minutes before swiping it with a sponge.
Two applications of the cleaner and good rinse later and NO more grime! I was SO happy to see that the black grime was actually coming off. I thought at first that we were going to have to buy a new bathtub and put in new tile. This took EVERY single smudge, grime, and black mark off.
It was transformed into a totally new bathroom (in my eyes). Everything was bright and clean! WOOHOO! I was super glad to have saved the money on buying new stuff for the bathroom when we had just spent so much money on moving in.

Calcium, Lime, and Rust Remover
The refrigerator and stove that we bought were used, and they weren’t as clean as I would have liked them to be. I went to work cleaning, washing, and scrubbing but there was some rusty looking spots on the bottom of the refrigerator that just WASN"T coming off for ANYTHING.
All I did was pour a little bit of this onto a sponge and within a couple swipes there wasn’t any more rust spots on the refrigerator. Now it looks like we bough it new, although we didn’t.
We also bought a washer and dryer from Adam’s mom. It had sit outside on the porch covered with a tarp for about 6 months before we got it. When Adam hooked it up and I lifted the lid- all I seen was dirt and leaves.
He cleaned the leaves out (because there was a dead spider in there too), and I ran some water inside the washing machine and mixed some of the CLR cleaner in with it. 1 empty load later and there wasn’t any dirt visible at all. I am SO glad that I had these CLR products to help me with the dirty part of the job! It made it SO much easier on me, and for that I am SO thankful!
Not only did it save me money, but they both have saved my sanity. I didn’t have to scrub for hours and hours like I would have if I hadn’t use this!
