Review: Eco Nuts Natural Laundry Soap

image

"Thanks for using Eco Nuts- you'd be nuts to use anything else!

Commercial Laundry Soap has so many chemicals inside that it can eventually seep into your skin via your clothes and harm you. I started looking for alternative options I’d say probably a year or so ago.

Eco nuts sent me their 100 load box of soap nuts to test and try on my clothes. There isn’t really anything that could be considered “extremely dirty” within my laundry pile. The things I was hoping to get out were dirt and grass stains from my kids being outside.

These are not actually nuts- so there isn’t a risk for an allergic reaction. These are berries that grow in the Himalayas that naturally produces a soap. The soap is called saponin, a natural cleaner that works as a surfactant, breaking the surface tension of the water to penetrate the fibers of your clothing, lifting stains from the fabric and leaving dirt suspended in the water that is rinsed away.

Eco Nuts are very gentle, so they are perfect for both clothing and skin. If you or someone in the family has sensitive skin, eczema, allergies and psoriasis this will actually help your skin.

There are different brands of soap nuts available, but the Eco Nuts are the highest quality. They only use a certain variety & size and they have the highest cleaning power.

I loved the way that these soap nuts have the ability to gently loosen the fibers in clothing (even towels) to make them fluffier and softer. They don’t SMELL amazing- but they look and feel clean. What more could you ask for? Especially if you’re allergic or are sensitive to fragrances.

The soap also doubles as a fabric softener during the rinse cycle- which means you are saving money on detergent AND fabric softener. When you can reuse and reuse soap nuts WHY would you want to buy regular detergent that has chemicals.

When you think about how much money you’ll save—you’ll definitely be making the switch too!
