Street Moda {Review} Brand Name Shoes & Apparel for Cheap

I was lucky enough to get to review a pair of diesel shoes from Street Moda.

These are the most comfortable shoes I own and I wear them all the time now. They are lightweight and go with everything. They are practical yet extravagantly designed. These shoes retail for $90.00 but are sold for $29.99 at Street Moda. Which price would you prefer to pay?

DSCF3692

I definitely would pay the $30 before the $90. Being a mom means putting the kids before myself and so I don’t have money falling out of my pockets to be able to spend tons of money on a pair of shoes or anything for that matter. I want a reasonable price for the shoes I want and that’s exactly what Street Moda has provided.

Street Moda is a cutting edge retailer of authentic brand name footwear, apparel and accessories at prices that can't be beat on the street.

I love Street Moda because they have a wide variety of brands to choose from which are all sold at cheap prices that you wouldn’t even think about seeing in shoe stores.

About Street Moda:

We carry the top junior and street wear brands in the world. The company was founded in 2005 by Internet entrepreneur Matt Kubancik, who was 18 at the time. Matt founded the company because growing up, he always wanted to the latest and hottest designer gear but could not afford the exorbitant prices retailers were charging. Coming from a very humble background, Matt wanted other people who came up from the same type of background as him to be able to access the latest and hottest designer gear at prices 50-80% off normal retail prices. Today, streetmoda.com is one of the largest independent footwear and apparel retailers on the web. Staying true to his roots, Kubancik devotes a lot of his energy to giving back. He works closely with Safe Place Services, which helps and shelters runaway kids, kids with bad family situations and kids with no where to run to. He can often be found giving out shoes to the kids at the local shelter, and also holding fashion show fundraisers for the organization.

Other products I ♥ from them..

I was not paid to do this review. Street Moda was nice enough to let me review their products. The opinions expressed in this blog are purely my own opinion and is in no way persuaded..

Thanks Street Moda..

SuperMarket Smarty {Review} The New Dry Erase Grocery List

It is so much easier getting items  you need when  your organized. My shopping experiences used to result in chaos because my shopping lists were unorganized. Not to mention the items I would forget to put on the list that I remembered I needed later...after leaving the store...my luck..lol

supermarket smarty - re-usable eco-friendly grocery list

But this SuperMarket Smarty is an amazing dry erase grocery list that helps you come home from the store without thinking “how in the world did I forget that”?

This list has everything grouped in categories such as:

*Dairy-where milk, eggs, and butter belong

*Deli- where cheese, sandwich meat, and salads & dips belong

*Fruits & Veggies- Not letting you forget the healthiest and most essential foods (not to mention delicious) including fresh herbs, nuts, and dried fruit.

*Whole Grains- helping you decide a healthier lifestyle of eating choices such as whole grain cereal, bread, muffins, tortillas, and rolls.

It also includes list of grains (rice...), pasta, and snacks in healthier choices such as suggesting oatmeal raisin cookies, baked chips, granola bar, air popped popcorn, pretzels, and crackers instead of chocolate, candy, and regular chips.

*Condiments-(extras)

Steak Sauce, Ketchup, Peanut Butter, Jelly, and Canola Oil..

*Beverages- Juice, coffee & coffee filters, tea, water, hot cocoa, orange juice..

*Spices-Salt, soy sauce, peppers..

*Frozen-fruit, ice cream, fries, pizza, waffles, hamburger, veggies..

*Canned-applesauce, beans, peas, tuna, broth, soup, veggies, fruit & more.

*Fish/seafood- catfish, shrimp, salmon....

*Meats-which include chicken, turkey, beef, pork...etc

*Supplies-Baking (flour, honey, sugar, breadcrumbs) Kitchen (Foil, Freezer Bags, Garbage Bags, Plastic Wrap) Paper Goods (Cups, Toilet paper, Tissue, Paper Towels..) Cleaning Supplies (Bathroom Cleaner, Detergent, Bleach, Dish Detergent, Furniture Polish...)

*Personal Care- (conditioner, shampoo, deodorant, soap, lotion, toothpaste..)

*Other- Batteries, Ice, Tape..

It has a notes section in case they have forgotten something you  need like poster board or new thread or whatever..or you just need to write a personal note to yourself such as..

Rack up on canned foods

We need glue for School art project

Pens and Pencils needed.

it also comes with a daily meal planner, so that you can plan what you need for meals on that day/week.

It has a pocket to hold coupons and the meal planner.

It has a symbol key to show you what each little icon means such as

lean protein, healthy fat, superfood, potassium...

This is a great way to eat better foods that you make you feel better instead of running in and grabbing random things. It helps you to stay organized and helps for a better shopping experience.

The SuperMarket Smarty has a magnifying glass right on the front to help read nutritional values on your food instead of squinting or tossing the food in the cart without looking at it.

This is an amazing reusable list that I will never go to the grocery store without. It fits in my purse perfectly and I don’t have to worry about it getting crumpled up and ripped because it is laminated.

It comes with a magnetic clip that holds you list on your refrigerator or filing cabinet.

I would definitely say this is a product worth the money. It has already been a great help to me in the short time I’ve had it. Saving me double trips to the store or not having something I need for breakfast.

W.H.A.T? What about it? If you can ask yourself WHAT? before choosing a food, you’ll be good to go.

W-Whole Wheat?

H-Healthy Oils?

A- Added Sugar?

T-Trans Fat?

Supermarket Smarty™ is a new Reusable Dry Erase Grocery List created by Patricia Tritt, a stay-at-home mom who wanted to help her family eat healthier.  The dry erase list, which opens up horizontally like a pamphlet uses fun, colorful symbols to highlight the nutritional benefits of foods like fruits & vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, healthy fats and more.  The symbols remind you to check off the best choices, taking the thinking out of healthy food shopping!

The list evolved out of Patricia’s own grocery list/nutrition ‘crib sheet’ that she brought to the supermarket each week to help her remember all the healthiest foods to include in her and her family’s diet.  She eventually had it laminated for dry erase (making it reusable) and added a coupon pocket, meal planning insert and embedded magnifying lens on the front cover to help people read fine print on packaging and labels.  It’s a complete system that can be clipped to your refrigerator (it comes with a magnet clip and dry erase marker), and items can be marked as you think of them throughout the week.  Now Healthy Food Shopping is as easy as Write, Wipe & Erase!

Order Supermarket Smarty™

The Smarty package includes:

  • Supermarket Smarty reusable dry erase grocery list
  • Retractable refillable dry erase marker.
  • Free magnetic clip (to hang on your refrigerator) free magnetic clip with every order

    $9.99 + shipping & handling

I was not paid to do this review. I did receive a SuperMarket Smarty to review, and the opinions in the blog are my own. I was not in any way persuaded to write this.

BrytonPick {Review & Giveaway} The New Way to Floss.

I got a chance to review the BrytonPick. It is a new and innovative way of flossing your teeth without all the hassle of regular floss.

I would have to say that I am not a floss carrying  person. I wish I could say I was, but I’m like those other people who don’t have time to run into the bathroom to look in the mirror- find the floss in a heap in my purse and actually floss. I don’t. It’s takes too much time and is inconvenient.

This is great for those times. When you’ve just ate- need to run somewhere and suddenly noticed you’ve not brushed and you haven’t had time to check whether you have leftover tuna salad in those choppers. Smile nicely and with confidence when you have this. It is great because it comes in so many colors, has a credit card size carrying case, and comes in an amazing array of colors to choose from.

Not only that- but it is reusable for 30 days. The stainless steel flexible ends kills germs so that it is okay to reuse. This eliminates how many flossers you have to throw away.

It is a very new and inventive way to floss. Who wants to carry the stringy floss around anyway?

The BrytonPick is a quick solution when there is no time or place to floss. Floss in seconds, a new and unique interdental cleaner.

*It reduces plaque & bacteria build-up.

*Prevents bad breath

*Stimulates proper hygiene.

It has flexible germ resistant stainless steel edges, that make the BrytonPick reusable for 30 days. It is convenient and potable because it has a go-anywhere credit card size carry pouch that make it easy to carry in your wallet, purse, or pocket. It is ultra-flexible and thin as floss reaching all areas to get the bacteria out.

People with braces will also find this to be an amazing product because the wires aren’t an obstacle for the BrytonPick. The rounded and blunt edges reduce the risk of injuring the gums, dental work and teeth. BrytonPick is strictly an interdental cleaner, it will not injure the gums since it is not forced.

DID YOU KNOW:

ADA statistics show only 12% of the population flosses regularly, mainly because floss is not convenient or easy to use. With today’s busy lifestyle there is rarely time or a proper place to floss after meals. As not many products are reusable or comfortable to carry, people often use dangerous improvised tools like; a pen cap, paperclip, staple, fingernail, edge of paper, or worse!

SO:

BrytonPick  is a stylish, convenient and discreet new innovation to get people flossing. It is easy to use, designed to be used daily, when on the go, to remove food debris and plaque from between the teeth after meals and snacks.

BrytonPick is made in the USA from completely recyclable materials. An additional environmental benefit is that BrytonPick is reusable (because of its germ-resistant stainless steel cleaning strips), thereby reducing the waste stream.

Keep Those Eyes Clean Optique 1 Eye Drops {Review & Giveaway}

I have had the chance to review Boiron’s Optique 1 Eye Drops.

I think this is an amazing product that is safe for the whole family to use.

I have a problem with feeling fatigued during the day. My eyes get so tired where all I do is read and write, so these eye drops were like a heaven sent product. All I have to do if I feel my eyes getting heavy is use one dose of the eye drops and my eyes are fully refreshed and full of life again. This means alot when I have tons of paperwork to scour over and feel like going to sleep...

Not only do they relieve eye irritation due to fatigue, it also relieves airborne irritants such as ragweed, dust, and pollen. But it also soothes red, dry, itchy, burning or tired eyes.

It comes in 20 single doses to keep the eye drops sterile. Do not touch tip of container to any surface

Our eyes are extremely sensitive and vulnerable, and they need gentle treatment when irritated by dust, ragweed, and other pollens, or by wind and sand from a day at the beach. Unfortunately, some traditional over-the-counter eye drops that contain decongestants, antihistamines or vasoconstrictors can only be used for short periods of time.

Luckily, Boiron’s Optique 1 Eye Drops can provide reliable and safe relief when experiencing red, dry, itchy and burning eyes due to fatigue or airborne irritants. Optique 1 does not contain vasoconstrictors or astringents, so there is no fear of a rebound effect or worsening of a condition. They can be used as often as needed without risk of overdose. The drops work naturally and are safe for everyone in the family.

Also, Optique 1 Eye Drops are packaged in sterile, single-use doses, making them preservative free. Single dose units can prevent contamination unlike traditional multiple-use containers. You can find this product in 10-dose or 20-dose sizes. More information can be found by visiting our Website.

Our Mission

"To stimulate the evolution of healthcare by promoting scientific homeopathy as a more compassionate, more ecological and more comprehensive approach to medicine and to allow every physician to know homeopathy and integrate it into their daily practice."

Our History

Boiron was founded in 1932 in Lyon, France, by twin brothers and pharmacists Jean and Henri Boiron. It is now the world leader in homeopathy. More about Boiron’s history in France and throughout the world can be found at www.boiron.com.

In 1983, Boiron established a U.S. presence by acquiring John A. Borneman & Sons, Inc., in suburban Philadelphia. Borneman was a family business with four generations of homeopathic expertise focused on supplying medicines directly to physicians and the public throughout the United States.

The fledgling company commonly, referred to as Boiron USA, employed a staff of seven who performed all tasks from harvesting and manufacturing to order processing and shipping. An average of 25 orders were shipped per day with a new focus on serving retail and pharmacy channels nationwide.

In 1985, the company’s first president, Daniel Cohen, began to focus on serving retail channels with consumer-friendly products. In 1987, Cohen returned to France and Thierry Montfort arrived in the U.S. from Lyon to take the helm and continue the expansion in retail distribution.

In response to a significant interest in homeopathy in California, Boiron established a branch in Simi Valley, California, outside of Los Angeles in 1989.

Ten years after the acquisition of Borneman, Boiron invested in the construction of a new building and moved from the original Borneman site in Norwood to neighboring Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. The building continues to service as both the Boiron USA headquarters as well as the manufacturing and distribution branch for the East Coast. The facility houses a high-tech manufacturing laboratory, an innovative order fulfillment center, and spacious warehouse and automated shipping operations.

After heading Boiron Canada for 7 years, namesake Thierry Boiron became Boiron USA’s third president in 1995 when his predecessor returned to France as a newly appointment board member.

After much growth and the need to contract for larger warehousing on both the East and West Coast, a newly built West Coast branch was completed in June 2005. The new 20,500 square-foot building offers a high-tech manufacturing laboratory and warehouse capabilities to meet future demands. Beyond enhancing service, the new building also can accommodate 50 people in a specially designed conference room to facilitate educational efforts as Boiron is currently focused on outreach to the medical community.

After Thierry Boiron returned to France to serve as managing director of the Boiron Group, Ludovic Rassat was appointed the fourth president of the U.S. division in January 2006.

Today, Boiron USA has evolved into a leading U.S. homeopathic medicine supplier, fulfilling up to 1,000 orders per day during the busy flu season. The company partners with brokers, distributors, and retail chains to make homeopathic products available to a wide variety of consumers and physicians. Boiron’s staff of 120+ consists of a medical doctor, four pharmacists and lab technicians, accounting and IT personnel, a marketing staff, a national sales force, customer service, order fulfillment and shipping professionals—many of whom have an impressively long career with the company.

Our Commitment

As world leader in homeopathy, Boiron is committed to lead by example.

  • Our Commitment to the Environment
The Boiron Group has a strong sense of obligation to respect the environment. The preparation of our medicines has limited impact on the environment. The main effects derive from extracting raw materials (continuity of species gathered), water pollution (mainly organic and biodegradable) and waste. As a counterbalance, Boiron promotes re-supplying wild or organically-farmed plants when possible. This sequentially improves the quality of raw materials used.
Additionally, the Boiron Group works with 120 botanist-harvesters. These specialists are well-versed in diagnosing the land and employing harvesting strategies to anticipate continuity of supplies for the future. They generally harvest plants from their natural surroundings, which are then used fresh and wild in accordance with the balance of nature and the specifications of the principal pharmacopoeia.

Boiron is generously giving away one 20-dose box of Optique 1 for one lucky Lime Green Dreams Reader..

Keep Those Sippy’s Close with the No Throw {Review}

no throw

I have recently had the chance to review NoThrow. If you don’t know what it is~ I am here to tell you.

 DSCF3693

NoThrow will help save your sanity in some form in the future, I promise you that. As moms we tend to have to pick up the same thing about a million times. Babies and kids love to throw things, no matter what’s in hand. This no-throw is like a leash for their cups, not allowing them to throw it around. Isn’t that cool?

All you have to do is take the Velcro side, through the handle side while attaching it to the stroller/high chair/ car seat. It stays put no matter what they try to do to take it off. It not only holds Sippy's, but bottles, pacifiers and even little dolls or whatever.

I pulled out the double stroller one day and walked towards my best friends house. Aidan sits in the front and Adisyn sits in the back. Somehow my best friend had started walking to meet me and I ended up at her house without her there. So I walked back down to the church to wait for her. When I got back to her house, Aidan started saying he was thirsty. I couldn’t find the sippy for the life of me. I looked everywhere, and knew he had thrown it somewhere. I didn’t know where, but I knew it was a gonner.

Later on that week, as I was driving down main street, I seen the sippy in the yard of the church. It was bright orange and hard to miss, but If I would have had the NoThrow I wouldn’t have had the problem of Aidan pitching it overboard.

The NoThrow’s are not only practical in use, but beautiful in design. They have so many to choose from it’s unbelievable.

About The No Throw Company:

We are Karla and Karen, Twin sisters, originally from Chicago. When our sons were still babies, we lived within a mile from each other and were about to enjoy taking walks to the park with our children or being able to drop in on each other for a cup of coffee. Soon after that, Karla and her family moved to Detroit. As a result of this move, we found ourselves traveling back and forth between the two states more than we ever imagined. During those trips Karla’s son Alex kept throwing his sippy cup all over the car. After one particularly embarrassing flight Karla called Karen and said “there has to be something out there to stop this embarrassment.” The NoThrow (as in DANNY/ALEX! NO THROW YOUR BOTTLE/CUP), is our answer. Today we are available in over 10 thousand stores across the U.S. and are exploring distribution in Europe. We continue to have tremendous success with the NoThrow. Parents and caregivers all over the U.S. consistently send us feedback saying how invaluable our invention is to them. Our customers buy the NoThrow for family and friends as gifts because they are so happy with it themselves.
