Air Wick National Park 2014 Fall Fragrance #Review #AutumnOasis

Just in time for fall, Air Wick has continued their partnership with the National Parks Foundation for their second fall National Park Collection. With five scents inspired by our National Parks, this collection includes three scents that were chosen and voted on by consumers as their favorite National Park Scent through Air Wick’s Facebook contest last fall—Great Smoky Mountains, Shenendoah and Acadia. This collection will also include two brand new scents inspired by the essences of Isle Royale and Cuyahoga Valley.

Although my favorite season is Summer, Autumn definitely gets second. I love the cool crisp days that bring crunchy colorful leaves. I love the bonfires, hoodies, and any reason to wear my boots. I love the fact that Halloween and Thanksgiving are right around the corner, and Football season is here. I also love the scents that are associated with fall.


The National Park fragrances that I received include:

• Acadia – Sweet Vanilla & Pumpkins

Sweet Vanilla & Pumpkins

Bring the magnificence of Acadia National Park to life with it's rich blend of sandalwood, vanilla and creamy pumpkin.
*I absolutely fell in love with this scent. I love the smell of pumpkins but most candles and scents mix spice in to make “Spiced Pumpkin”. Air Wick has given me exactly what I wanted in a fall fragrance. I swear this smells just like a fresh baked Pumpkin Pie mixed with a hint of sweet vanilla.

It has such a warm and inviting scent that is perfect for the fall season. It gently releases it’s pumpkin/vanilla scent so that it isn’t overpowering. It is a subtle sweet scent that has gotten me many compliments on how amazing my house smells.Warm scents actually invite people in to your home because it draws them in with the comfy atmosphere.
Two thumbs up!

• Shenandoah – Apple Harvest

 
Apple Harvest & Cinnamon Spice
The aroma of the ripening apple harvest combines with cedarwood and cinnamon spice to inspire rich memories of the fall in Shenandoah National Park.

*I love this. Apples and fall always go together for some reason. It’s a mixture of all the things we use apples for in the fall. Apple pies. apple cider, bobbing for apples, and candy apples. I love that this is more apple and less spice. It does have a subtle hint of cedarwood, which is what helps it smell like a real apple harvest.

It kind of has that crispness we associate with fall. I don’t know if it reminds me of apple picking and  crunchy leaves or what. Psst… and did you know that the cinnamon scent boosts brain power and learning ability? Another win/win.

• Cuyahoga Valley - Sweet Pear & Amber Woods

Indulge in Cuyahoga Valley's lush orchards with fresh picked sweet pears ripened by the fall amber woods and complemented by touches of warm cinnamon and nutmeg.

*This is my absolute favorite out of the 3 scents, although it was hard to choose. This one just draws me in. The sweet sugared pear smell mixed with amber, cinnamon, and nutmeg is just amazing. I’ve never smelled an in-home scent like this before. It’s got the warm and inviting intrigue yet it’s also crisp and sweet.

I love the fact that you can smell the spices but they aren’t overwhelming. The spices kind of take a back stance to the sweetened pears, which is also why it’s my favorite. Nutmeg is also an amazing stress reliever when used in candles and essential oils.

My kids are basically big enough to where we don’t HAVE to pack a bag, other than snacks. So, this bag just kept calling my name. It desperately wanted to become my yarn bag. Crazy huh? It works SO much better than any other bag you could use. It helps the yarn stand straight up, so they aren’t getting tangled and crazy. I also don’t have to search, they are all out in the open. I love it.

 

It comes with matching accessories, which make it even better. If you’re looking for a great laptop bag- this would be it- I swear. It even has metal feet at the bottom to protect the bottom of the bag from getting dirty when you have to put the bag on the floor! Amazingness, I swear!

It has 12 pockets, so just imagine having a certain place for special items like keys, cell phone, USB cord, etc. I love that my smaller items don’t have to be smushed at the bottom of the bag, and I can get to them easier. To make this bag even better, it’s made from eco-friendly material that is completely PVC free.

There isn’t a better find anywhere. The main compartment of the bag has an insert that can separate it. So, if you’ll be packing smaller items that you’d like to keep apart, this insert would be perfect. If you want to leave it as an open space, just keep the insert pushed to the side.

The PackIt Freezable Picnic Bag is designed to keep contents colder, longer. All PackIt products are designed with a patented freezable gel that is permanently built into the liner. There is absolutely no need for ice packs or gel packs. 

You just fold up the bag flat and stick it into your freezer the night before you want to use it. I love the fact that it's bendable and I can fold it, because it doesn't take up that much room in my freezer. It features a new zip top closure to lock in the cold, dry air to keep contents at their freshest.

This is perfect for any kind of food, drink, or snack. Carrying healthy foods just got easier. This picnic bag also keeps fruits, veggies, and even dairy cold and fresh all day. Two thumbs up! This isn't just good for your health, but for your budget as well. When food is kept from going bad and going to waste, you save more money.

It is made from food-safe, non-toxic poly canvas. It's also PVC, BPA, phthalate, and lead free. The inside is very easy to clean. You can just wipe it down with a wash cloth if anything is spilled or leaked inside. The outside is also easy to clean, you can just toss the whole thing in some dishwater and wash it and dry it like that.

You can now have fresh, cold food at barbeques, tailgates, and even sporting events. Other bags just insulate the cold, PackIt produces cold with it's built in ice packs. We've tried different packable coolers, yet none compare to this one. 

The other coolers were harder to pack. Especially the hard plastic coolers, very inconvenient and uncomfortable when walking a long distance. Other coolers have the two short handles, while the PackIt cooler has 2 packing options. The longer shoulder handle makes it easier for me to pack, it isn't so bulky and uncomfortable. This also lets me pack it easily beside my beach bag.

I also love that this bag doesn't sweat. I hated packing other coolers because before very long, I'd end up with damp clothes. The PackIt doesn't sweat at all, even when the gel inside has all melted. Now during trips I don't have to worry that the kids snack is going to ruin or that they won't have anything cold to drink.

This bag is great for so many things. Whether you're going on a picnic, a day at the park, or a fishing trip. A camping trip, long drive, or a day at the beach. This thing has TONS of space for lots of drinks, snacks, and food. 

Tons of design options for both genders. They are all stylish and designed very well. High quality and works very well!

Cool Gear: Must Haves #BacktoSchool Mason Jar & Bling Lunch Bag

School started here last week, which was both good and bad. I love having the day to work on my posts, but I miss the munchkins. It means the end of summer, and fall is coming. Summer is my favorite, and I am so not ready for the winter (at all!!) Has school started for your kids yet?

Cool Gear has some of the most amazing items to add to your back to school (or back to work) list. Looking for a coffee/tea mug to take with you when you take your kids to school in the morning? What about a lunch box for work (or school for the kiddos)? Storage or containers for your food? No matter what you're looking for, you'll find it at Cool Gear.

I've always been a fan of Cool Gear Inc. They have the most unique styles and designs anywhere. The first thing I ever used from Cool Gear was the 16 oz. Cool Gear Can in pink leopard print, which I still have. I swear I packed this thing EVERYWHERE and caught the attention of tons, they wanted to know where to get one. They loved it, but they definitely weren't getting mine.. lol.

I was super excited to learn that they came out with a Plastic Double Wall Mason Jar. You know how we southerners like our Mason Jars. So you know I couldn't resist it! They had so many different colors and designs, that it was hard for me to choose! I mean... I want them all.. lol.

I ended up getting the Paisley design Mason Jar, which I don't see how I ever lived without. I fell in love with it as soon as I opened the box. The color is very vibrant, beautiful, and eye-popping. Of course I love the design (it has lime green in it). 

This is just like a real Mason Jar except it isn't glass (and it's decorated). This is made with double walled insulation to keep your drink super cold! The Mason Jar is an essential staple in the south. Whether we're drinking out of it, canning with it, or making our own candles with it. The Mason Jar is amazing for so many things. So, when i seen this look-a-like I was amazed (and no, you can't can with it.. lol).

These Mason Jars are made with recyclable plastic that is BPA and Phthalate free.. so no nasty chemical induced plastic. It's also dishwasher safe. So when you're done, you can just toss it in the dishwasher (top rack). I don't have a dishwasher, so I wash it by hand. I love that its super easy to clean! Makes it tons easier.

               

Unlike other Mason Jars, this one comes with a lid. It has 2 drinking options. You can either sip from the straw, or chug from the spout. Whichever you prefer. If you use the spout part, just take the straw out and plug the hole with the rubber insert. Easy peasy!

If you are looking for a variety of uniquely styled lunch bags, Cool Gear is where you need to be. They have a cool race car bag for boys, and a variety for girls (or yourself). My daughter Adisyn has always had her own unique style, and she loves picking her own clothes and stuff out. She started Kindergarten this year, and what better way to send her?

I let her choose which lunch bag she liked best and she chose the Bling Bag. There are 3 different colors to choose from, and each color has a different design. She ended up wanting the pink one, because she absolutely LOVES pink and she likes rocking skulls (I'm pretty sure she's half punk rocker/ half diva lol).









               

The Bling Lunch bag is very loved, as you can tell by the look on her face, She adores it, and tries to pack it everywhere. I told her it's just for lunch. She loves it because of the designs, I love it because it's practical. It is fully insulated and has 2 pockets!

It is fully insulated, so that I know her lunch is staying cold while she's at school. No worrying that her drink is going to be warm or her lunch spoiled. It has a Zip top closure to keep everything inside, yet easy for her to get to her lunch.

I love the unique, stylish designs of all Cool Gear items and this bag is no exception, Bright colors, cool designs, and bling. I mean-- what girl can resist that? Definitely not Adisyn (shhh and myself). It has lime green in it, so you know I love it! 

It has 2 outside pockets. A front pocket and a smaller side pocket. The larger pocket in the front is where I put little drawings for her, so that she doesn't get too home sick. (and I sneak in a little extra snack.) The side pocket is for drinks, but I put her drink in the big compartment to keep it cold until lunch time. 

It is designed with an easy clean EVA lining. It's a plastic like material that you can just wipe out if any spills or leaks are made. You could even throw it in the sink in some dishwater and let it soak in the dish rack after it's rinsed. You can't throw it in the wash because of the attached "bling" on the front.

Turn One 12V Auto Outlet into a Three Port Charging Hub

I am LOVING this! I don't know how I ever managed without it I swear. It has 2 Universal USB Ports and One 12v Port lets you charge 2 devices at once. It doesn't matter what brand of Smartphone you have, this will charge it up. It can charge my Samsung S4 and Nokia Icon. The best part about it is that it still lets you charge stuff you normally would with your cigarette lighter import. 

When I got my truck, I went to Walmart and got a DVD player for the kids. It works via the cigarette lighter. So I am super glad that this charger not only has the phone ports but the port I need for my DVD player. It doesn't take up extra space, just adds awesomeness to my truck. Now Adam and I can both charge our phones while the kids still get to watch their movies.

I am still in disbelief that this is so cheap! It is very high quality and works PERFECTLY. If you are considering getting a new and better auto charger, I definitely recommend this one! The BOMB!
