I’ve had my share of sprains and strains throughout the years. Believe it or not most of my sprained ankles came from playing around in the yard with the kids. I’d be playing catch, hide-n-go seek, or some other game and end up walking right into a hole the wrong way. OUCH! But thankfully, ACE™ Brand Bandages have been there to give me comfort and support.

If you’ve ever been unfortunate enough to strain or sprain a muscle or a tendon, then you know about the R.I.C.E Therapy.


1. Rest: Avoid doing anything that can cause strain on your injury. Protect it as much as possible.
2. Ice: Apply a cold compress (ice pack). The cold reduces swelling and numbs the pain. Apply 10-20 minutes, 3 times a day. Apply the ice or cold pack under a towel. Avoid direct contact with skin.
3. Compression: Apply an ACE™ Brand Bandage to reduce swelling. Wrapping an injury reduces swelling. The new ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandage with new improved ACE™ Brand Clip is great  for providing customized compression.
4. Elevate: Lift the injured limb above the level of the heart to help drain excess fluid.

I am loving the new and improved ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandage. I loved the older ACE™ Brand Bandages, but the beige color did no justice with sweat and dirt. The black color of the new ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandage with ACE™ Brand Clip keeps anything from showing, meaning it requires less cycles through the wash. Two thumbs up.


I particularly love the new clip. The old metal clips would fall out and get lost. I also didn’t like that the metal teeth snagged and pinched. This new ACE™ Brand Clip is plastic and easy to maneuver. The clip stays fastened with the same amount of pressure. It doesn’t slip and remains secure throughout the day.
I love that I can still type and write while I have this on. The ACE™ Brand Clip doesn’t get in the way of typing on my computer, and the ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandage gives both my wrist and hand comfort able support. The bandage has a secure, comfortable hold that doesn’t unravel as I wear it during the day.



I also love the fact that it isn’t bulky. The bandage adds comfort and padding yet not too much. I can still wear my shoes normally when I wrap the ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandage on my ankle/foot. It’s comfortable and doesn’t make my foot sweat.
