The lip gloss comes in 15 beautiful shades, ranging from almost clear to a deep berry. Some have shimmer, while some don’t. I love the variety and the creaminess of the gloss. It feels so amazing on my lips.

For this holiday, Mary Kay is adding seven new shades to their NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss ($18 CAD each) line. Each lip gloss is formulated with vitamin E, vitamin C, and plant minerals to nourish the lips.

I was sent these new seven shades; Berry Dazzle, Silver Moon, Sparkle Berry, Sun Blossoms, Shock Tart, Pink Wink, & Golden. The creamy, rich, luxurious formula of the lip gloss is the same within all 7 except Sparkle Berry- which is kind of rough (I can feel the glittered sparkles).

All the glosses besides Silver Moon and Golden are pigmented. They are kind of sheer with a slight shimmer. The shimmery glosses are packaged with sparkles but they are very smooth and creamy and not at all gritty or scratchy. (The exception being the Sparkle Berry).

hey are all very beautiful colors,;some neutral shades while some are popping & bright. No matter what you’re looking for, you’ll find a color you’ll love within one of these.

              

The NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss comes in short plump clear lip gloss tubes. They all come with a twistable black cap and printed black logo & information. They contain a simple doe-foot applicator that is definitely good quality and fits my lips perfect.

The glosses are lightweight and slightly sticky, which isn't really a bad thing. The slight stickiness aids the gloss in holding on to the lips better. It’s made that way for longer wear. If you want to be able to wear your gloss without reapplying it all the time, you’ll want your gloss a tad sticky. The wear time is amazing, three to four hours with drinking coffee (A+). :D

My Review*

I am in love with this scent and everything about it. It is so fresh, intriguing, and intoxicating. Defined as a ‘loveable, snuggle-worthy fragrance’, Thinking of Love™ Eau de Parfum is a rose, floral fragrance created to inspire new moments and memories. The bottle is absolutely beautiful with a compact design, beautiful script, and a removable heart charm so you can add it to a bracelet or necklace if you want!


I love the mixture of these amazing ingredients and the scent they give off. It’s floral yet not overly sweet thanks to the sandalwood and musk additives. It has a sexy woodsy smell that captivates me. I think this is one of my top five favorites of all time, I wish it weren’t a limited edition.

The Sandalwood and Velvet Musk mix extremely well with the pink honeysuckle, French Violet, and Spring Freesia. I can’t smell any mandarin, but the scent of this is very sexy and good for day or night wear. I could actually make this a signature perfume in my life, I love it that much.

It’s light, not overpowering, yet very sensual. I can’t believe how long the scent lasts too, especially when sprayed directly on clothing. I picked my clothes out of the hamper to wash them 2 days after wearing and spraying and the scent was still there, fresh as ever. That’s incredible.

SoftSoap Holiday Body Wash Collection (Limited Edition 2014)

Softsoap has three new limited edition Holiday inspired body washes; Alpine Mint Frost, Venetian Vanilla Spice, and Parisian Berry Bliss. Christmas is my favorite holiday and I love decking out my house in Holiday scents, so I was super excited to try these body washes. They double as bathroom decor, haha.

As far as lather goes, these are all nice and creamy. They make amazing bubble baths as well, because they bubble up so well. I can squirt just a tad bit under hot running water and the entire tub fills with luxurious bubbles. The scents fill my bathroom and leave thoughts of a Winter Wonderland behind.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Softsoap and their variety of products. Not only do they have too many that I LOVE, but they are ALL affordable. Not to mention that all the body washes leave me feeling super clean, my skin nourished & moisturized, and not sticky or too dry.

This body wash is definitely embracing the magic of the winter season. When I opened the cap, visions of candy canes and peppermint sticks floated through my mind. I really like this creamy, fresh peppermint scent- it’s definitely very Christmasy. It isn’t too overpowering but the scent lingers.

I’ve never smelled anything that was scented this close to a real peppermint. It doesn’t have that overpowering Bengay mint smell that some mint scented products do. It’s scented with “Cool Winter Mint”. It’s just sad that this is a limited edition, because you can’t help but think of Christmas trees with hanging peppermint sticks and candy canes. :D

This is very relaxing and yet rejuvenating at the same time. This is perfect for bubble baths too! Light a candle, fill up the bathtub, and relax. I detect a light scent after I get out of the shower, but it fades pretty quickly. With peppermint scents, that’s pretty amazing. I don’t want to smell like a giant peppermint stick long after I’ve rinsed off.

The consistency is amazing. Not too thick yet not too thin and watered down. Produces amazing amounts of bubbles, and the peppermint smell is so refreshing.

Softsoap® Parisian Berry Bliss

I totally wish they had a lotion to go with this, I’d so buy it. This could be used in the fall season as well, the berry scent is amazing and not too overpowering.

Softsoap® Venetian Vanilla Spice

I am a big fan of Smashbox Cosmetics and always have been. They have such a large variety of products and different color varieties within those products, which is awesome. The Promise Lip Gloss shade is a very feminine light pink color with a slight shimmer. You can wear it alone, under your favorite lip stick, or mixed with another gloss. I love that it’s true to color. The color I see on the website is exactly the color that it gives me when I apply it.

I love this lip gloss. It is such a beautiful color and makes any outfit shine with it’s light feminine pop of pink shine. It is a great quality gloss that doesn’t have to be re-applied very often, which I love. This feels like a liquid lipstick with a bit of gloss, which I love. I love the lightweight feel and the fact that it isn’t sticky yet it IS creamy. A+

Usually when a lip gloss has sparkles or glitter, I can feel it in the overall texture within the gloss. This one I can’t though, which I love. It’s just a creamy, nourishing feeling- not gritty like other sparkling glosses. The wand is also very thin which seems to mold to my lips, I love it. It seems to contain the amount of gloss that comes out to very little. so it’s a very even application all over.

I feel that this is an anytime/anywhere shade. It can be worn to work, to the playground with my kids, or even a date night with Adam. The color is very versatile and moisturizing. It creates a chic, modern, ultra-feminine girly look. I really am loving the pale pink color.

Drunk Elephant Skin Care: C-Firma Day Serum

                                   

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum is a super potent Vitamin C day serum packed with powerful antioxidant complex essential nutrients, fruit enzymes and an anti-aging chronopeptide that transforms into Vitamin D, all working together to firm and brighten skin, while preventing and correcting photoaging. 

Instructions: In the AM, apply evenly to clean, dry face, neck, chest and backs of hands.

  

I love the modernized square design of the bottle. I also love that they use bright colors as the top of their lids, very nice addition to my bathroom shelf! The serum comes with a pump-action top that is easy squirt good size amounts. I don’t need very much at all to get the entire are of my face, neck, chest, + back of my hands.

I was intrigued by Drunk Elephant. Not only for their unique name and product line, but because of what IS NOT on the ingredient list. They are a natural, non-chemical company. So, I automatically know all their products are safe and toxin-free.

I’ve been using this every morning under a light moisturizer + my makeup. It is very lightweight and has a very thin consistency. It’s a very medium brown serum, looks almost amber in color. It’s refreshing to apply and dries very quickly. I love that it leaves my skin moisturized but not too oily.

I usually have issues with using serums + a moisturizer under my makeup, because I have oily skin. I was afraid it would make me shine or glisten throughout the day but it doesn’t interact with my other makeup products at all.

My skin slurps it right up without it looking oily or too dry. I’ve had some issues with some serums causing my makeup to roll into balls and looking un-even or cakey in spots. It’s essentially invisible, like it was never even applied.

I have used plenty of vitamin c serums, but this one is at the very top of the list. When I apply this is very light, rejuvenating tingling feeling. It does a slightly weird scent of something burnt. but that’s only after dispensing. I can’t smell it after I apply it to my face.

I’ve only been using this a short period of time, yet I have both seen and felt my skin improve. I’ve been using this along side- SoapBox Black Bar (facewash) + Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. I always look tired under my eyes because of the slighter darker skin there. It doesn’t look black, per say- but definitely darker than the rest of my skin. Using this has faded them slightly already and my skin seems to glow from within.

    

Plus, when I decide to wear it- my makeup lasts all day. Like I said, other serums would leave my face feeling very tight and sticky after I had my makeup on. I appreciate that I don’t have to check a mirror all the time to see if I have makeup balls on my eyebrows!

This is a very high quality serum because I can put ANYTHING on top of this and my skin still doesn’t feel oily. Usually I have to use a powdered makeup (or a very light liquid). Now I don’t have to choose, I can wear whatever I want.

There’s no trick to how this serum works so well, it’s secret is pumpkin extract. Pumpkin extract is amazing for the skin and beneficial in so many ways. Pumpkin is packed with nutrients and APA’s which help to smooth and brighten skin. Pumpkin also contains antioxidants Vitamin A & C which softens and soothes the skin while also boosting collagen! :)

This is amazing for those with a dull complexion and pigmentation issues. The pumpkin contains zinc which controls and regulates oil production (SO, yes- this is the perfect serum for oily skin) and it helps to naturally heal the skin. Pumpkin is amazing at removing pigmented skin cells and brightening skin cells while nourishing from within.

This is a with anti-aging and pigmentation issues. Although my skin doesn’t looked aged, I do have an uneven skin tone and huge pores. Just using this for the short amount of time, I can already see that my skin tone has evened out a little and my pores are gradually getting smaller- which is amazing!

Even though I’m only 25, it’s never too early to start taking care of my skin. Whether you’re 25 or 55- this product is amazing for all ages.
