Review & Giveaway: Pourty Potty

As a parent, I LOVE anything that makes my day a little easier. Not to mention finding something that is made from parents! I mean, who knows KIDS more than parents? When it comes to potty training, I needed all the help I could get!

Pourty Potty is an amazing little potty that helps kids not only learn to potty train, but makes it easier for parents to clean up afterward. With Aidan- I bought tons of different potty training helpers. I bought the potty training toilet that sounded like it flushed, and had all the bells and whistles- and it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. He didn’t care about all that!

What I learned from HIM was that he needed something that he felt comfortable sitting on. Some potties that sit higher tend to make kids feel like they are going to flip over. The Pourty Potty helps kids feel confident because it is closer to the ground Adisyn could sit without feeling wobbly.

It has a roomy, flat seating area which helps for them to sit easily. Because she felt more stable, she would sit for a longer period of time- which ended up helping finishing up her potty training.

I love that it has an easy to grip handle, so that I can just grab it and dump it as needed. Unlike the other “fancy” potties that require you to take this and that off before your ACTUALLY at the potty part. They DO look fun to the kids, but for the mom it can be quite the chore when you have to clean it! Plus, those potties are hard to grip making it easier to spill and get toddler mess all over the floor. Watch the Video here

Now I can just dump it, stick it under the bath tub faucet, fill it up with water, and re-dump it back into the toilet. SO it’s VERY easy to clean. It is made with sturdy plastic, and very low to the ground which makes it hard for the kids to knock it over. It’s very cheap in price- so overall it’s an amazing deal.

Playful Critics Globe Bear Review & Giveaway

Isn’t this little guy just so adorable? My daughter thinks so. Every since we have met “Beary”, she has become SO attached to him. She tags him along with her wherever we go. Wherever you see Adisyn, you see “Beary”.

She makes me tuck him into bed with her at night, sits him beside her when she eats, and buckles him into the car when we go somewhere. It is SO cute how much she loves him.

“Beary” as Adisyn has named him comes from the Playful Critics line. The globe bear was designed to help parents and teachers to teach children about the five oceans and continents of the world.

This has been an amazing conversation starter about the world, because Adisyn is naturally curious anyway. She wanted to know what the green things were- and I was able to explain to her that they were countries. She is only 3, so she didn’t grasp the WHOLE thought out plan of what continents were- but we are definitely working on it.

She did understand that where WE live isn’t the only places on Earth. This really got the ball rolling about different kinds of people. We talked about how different people on other continents ate other things then what we eat, and how children are different as well.

The Globe bear contains recycled material- so not only are you getting the chance to teach your kids about the excitement of the world- you ARE actually helping the world! Cool, huh?

This is Adi’s new buddy, and when she gets him dirty- I can just throw him in the wash and he comes out looking brand new. He is 12 inches tall and is for children 3+.

As a mom, I have tried several methods for better sleeping with both Aidan and Adisyn. I am a worry-wort and was horribly sleep deprived when my kids were babies because they would wake up crying all the time.

If she does wake up, I just turn the Tranquil Turtle back on, sit with her for a minute, and she will drift back into slumber land.

I was proud of him for wanting so badly to tie his own shoes. I guess this means independence for him. He loves to be able to do things for himself and he always has, so I was glad to be able to get Loopeez for Aidan and try and teach him this essential need before Kindergarten came upon us.

Not only does Loopeez help ties shoes, but it helps to keep them tied. I loved this. I love that there are so many products that are teaching kids independence and building a love for learning. It’s way better than confusing them with the rabbit ears, or loop-swoop- & pull thing.

He has soared with this. It did take him about 2 weeks to get the concept, but he done it! I am SO proud of him.!

Kidzies Big Bagz Review & Giveaway

What mom, aunt, or grandmother doesn’t want to know about adorable kid’s items that are affordable, chic, and functional as well? On this website you can choose to view items within a certain price range, how awesome is that?
Most of these adorable items can be personalized with your child’s name on it. This means a lot to me, because where I chose to spell Adisyn differently, it is hard to find items that are personally for her. Never any bike tags, sippy cup holders, or bags for Adisyn unless I pay the company plenty extra to put it on there.
I chose the V’Room Bigger Bagz for Aidan and the Poppies Bigger Bagz for Adisyn.

I was amazed at how the quality was on these. They are VERY nice. My kids LOVED them. As soon as they came in the mail, they were all over them. Searching through the toy box looking for something to put inside them.
Aidan of course, chose a bunch of matchbox cars- that he immediately took outside to play outside in the dirt with. He lines them up and then puts them in demolition derbies. =) That’s my Aidan for ya.
Adisyn chose random items for hers. She put in these tiny little Care Bears that I bought for her last year. Then she put in some little toys and dolls. She loved the clip on it!

The Bigger Bagz is machine washable. My kids are terror on their clothes and toys, so I almost jumped up and down when I learned that I could just throw it in the wash and be done with it.
