Zevia Cola Review

As I snap open the top of this Mountain Zevia, I think about how it might taste. With it being sugar-free I thought it might taste wangy or weird. It didn’t.

Zevia cola has no sodium, 7 carbs, 0 calories. It didn’t taste like a natural mountain dew type drink to me. It tastes almost exactly like the real thing. I thought because it has Stevia in it, that I might be able to taste it in my drink- I didn’t. I think for adults or teens who like the pop-fizz carbonation of soda, but don’t want the health risks of too much sugar should definitely give Zevia a try.

Stevia comes from the earth, unlike the artificial additives in “diet” colas from our regular soda producers. The extract from the stevia leaf has no calories, no effect on blood sugar levels, and is hundreds of times sweeter than sugar. It comes from the Sunflower family, and isn’t chemically induced with anything other than natural greatness. =)

I have a natural “sweet” likeness. I like coke and coffee and tea. I know that all the caffeine is bad, so I thought I’d give it a try.

They have so many different flavors its unreal. They have soda, diet soda, mountain Zevia, root bear, black cherry, a cream soda… and more.

Dr. Zevia is their newest addition to the Zevia cola’s. They are now making 7 different flavors.

This is a great substitute for regular soda’s, which are cram-packed with sodium and caffine- these cola’s have 0 of both, and they do not taste much different from the regular soda.

So the next time you think you want to cut some of that sugar from your life, but don’t want to lose that bubbly feel? Think Zevia.

And you get the privilege of owning shirts that not everybody has. I like to be unique, and it shows in my clothing experience. Smell like a Queen- Perfume Pointers

When it comes to perfume or cologne, less is more. People think that if they spray more it will last all day. This is definitely false. You just end smelling too strong, and people 3 feet away can smell you. This isn't a good thing. Perfume is something personal, like your signature scent, so don't try and go cheap cheap when deciding. You don't want to come off smelling like an too clean toilet bowl. People shouldn't smell you before they see you.

I read somewhere in a magazine that you shouldn't put perfume directly on your clothes. This can wear off easily. You should apply it to the heated parts (temples) of your body. Back of knees, wrists, and of course- your neck. This releases scent in an inviting way instead of overpowering. Remember just to dabble some on your fingertips and apply, instead of spraying. This will rid of the alcohol type smell. & then spray in front of you {cloud} and walk through it.

You should also get perfumes for each season. In the summer/spring try something light and flirty. This is to keep a heavier scent getting much heavier and mixing with sweat.

I have loved Amber Romance from Victoria's Secret for as long as I can remember.

Same as said about any smell involving Vanilla and Brown Sugar, or cucumber melon in body sprays.

Cliques, Hicks, and Ugly Sticks- Confessions of April Grace {Book Review}

April Grace Reilly is having everything within her world change so fast. Her friends from elementary school have turned into people she barely recognizes as they head for middle school.
Aprils mom seems to be acting different, and her family has also taken in Mr. and Mrs. St. James while their house is being fixed up.
This girl is a wear her heart on her sleeve kind of girl. She is learning there are life matters that she can change, and then there are those that she can’t. She’s learning to be patient and tolerate the things she can’t help in the world.
This is a book targeted to tween girls, a book written in an open and honest tone about the difficulties of getting older during this time.
I would recommend reading this along with your daughter, and sharing with her that everybody changes and grows up and that it isn’t a big deal for people to be forming cliques, but the gossip and troublemaking during these years get worse.
