Zebra Sarasa Clip 5 Color Gel Pens:

This 5 color set includes: blue, light blue, lime green, orange, and pink. Zebra has done it again! These pen are fine tipped gel pens, yet write like a ballpoint.

As a writer, I’ve always tried to avoid gel pens because they bubble up, skip, and make a hard time for me. I would have to shake and shake them to get them to work. Not with these Zebra Sarasa Pens. They write absolutely without flaws.

These pens have endured very hard writing and never backed down once. They’ve been dropped and wrote without a problem, and they’ve never dried out when I accidentally left the pen retracted.

These pens have come dressed with a binder clip- which makes it easy to put in a purse pen pocket, on binders, notebooks, and anything else. They are very thick clips, so they won’t break- which is a huge plus for me!

It is made from recycled plastic, and the pen is VERY durable. The writing is smooth, and is only $10 for a set of 5 at Jetpens. This is a high quality pen without the high quality price. I am LOVING these pens. I can now write different tasks in different colors, so that I know which is more important and which can wait!

Campus 5 pack notebooks:

These notebooks come in a set of 5 and all assorted colors. They are small enough for me to throw in a bag and take with me. I pick my son up from school, and I have to get in the pick-up line 30 minutes early or he is the last to be picked up.

Because I have to get there early, I have tons of time to write notes or prioritize tasks or shopping lists that need to be done. The paper is smooth, so my pens just breezes across the paper without any snagging.

The cover is thin enough that I can fold it over and tuck it behind itself to easily write on the back of the paper. The paper feels thin, but isn’t. It can stand up to repetitive erasing if I needed to fix something more than once. There was no tearing or balling up! Great quality!

These notebooks are great for students because they are pre-dotted. This is great for Calculus or any class that needs to have things mapped out.

Shoplet Review: Zebra Pens #shopletreviews

I LOVE office supplies, always have. When I was a kid- I’d spend my entire allowance on paper, binders, pens, highlighters, and the such. Even as I got older- I would ask for tons of office supplies for Christmas, I know weird huh? I can’t help it.

I’ve always been a writer at heart. I would take binders, fill them with loose leaf paper and copy what I wanted to learn out of textbooks. It has helped me learn, but it also taught me that I’m a nerd.. lol.
When I got the chance to review some very awesome Zebra pens from Shoplet, you wouldn’t believe how stoked I was! Okay- maybe you do! =)

Zebra Z-Mulsion EX Ballpoint pens are amazing! This has a modern feel to it because it has a very durable plastic barrel and a rubber grip. The rubber grip on this pen makes for the MOST amazing writing, because it has added ridges for a better grip!

They are made with a revolutionary blend of water, oil, and ink pigment that never EVER skips, bubbles, or dries out! The barrel is much wider than any other ballpoint pen AND has a retractable point. A good reliable pen that you’ll want to keep on you at all times.!

I love how it just glides across the paper like an ice skater performing at their best. I fell in love with this pen at first stroke. It had me at hello. The ink flow of this pen is VERY above level!
It wrote on everything I came in contact with for 5 minutes. No matter what it was- cardboard, paper, and construction paper. This is a VERY high quality pen for $19.50

I am SO going to add all the other 5 colors to my collection. I got the blue one- but there is also black, red, green, light blue, pink, violet, and orange. Ooh I can’t wait!

Zebra F-301 Retractable Ballpoint Pen
This is such a comfortable, affordable, and yet high quality pens. These kind of pens bring back the days of my dad. He was a truck driver and did ALL his paperwork with these metal type pens!

I’d see him scrolling away writing down his miles, money averages, and the loads that were hauled to and from and ask him to write as well. I’m not sure if they were Zebra pens to be exact- because I was only 7 when he died from a motorcycle accident- BUT this makes me feel reminiscent and full of great memories every time I pick one up! It has a smooth stainless steel barrel with a rubber grip located near the tip for a better grip.

The best thing about this pen is the very fine point. Even though it HAS a fine point, it doesn’t scratch the paper like most fine points. And it has a thicker marking line then most fine point pens.
This is great for me when I’m editing my work. I can just write very small at the top where something needs to be fixed, something needs to be added, or deleted.

Because of the stainless steel look, they look so amazingly professional.  They are very comfortable to hold, and are very durable. Even when accidentally put through the wash, it didn’t act like it had been.


They sent a little mascot along with the very awesome pen holding binder.. but Miss Adisyn Eve has declared Ms. Zebra all her own. The package came when Aidan was in school- so she stole it right from the start.

Istencils Review & Giveaway

As a crafter- Stencils are a must have in my craft room. I’m not sure how I would survive without them. I love working with different stencils and stenciling different objects.

I can’t beautify without stencils because I can’t draw a LICK! I really can’t. This is just something that GOD left off on my talent list. I can sew, crochet, write, and multitask so efficiently that people actually stare- but I can’t draw.

I was amazed at how many different choices of stencils they had. I probably spent more than 45 minutes just looking and browsing around before I actually chose something. I loved all of the designs! AND they are very high quality with different sizing options which made it 10x better.

Even if you’re looking to stencil an entire yard of fabric- they have a size for that! How amazing is that?

When they came in the mail- I was SO excited! This time I chose stencils, brushes, and some paint, so I got a rounded out version of everything they had to offer.

I ended up choosing 4 stencils.

I love all of these stencils. They worked like a dream. They are so much thicker than normal stencils, that it kept the paint from bleeding underneath the stencil and blending together.

 

Graffiti Star

I love this! It really did looked like a distressed star. So all of the work that I done with this stencil looked so antique and beautiful!

I did a light blue metallic paint outside with a gold star inside. There are just so many inspiring possibilities when working with this amazing stencil. Everybody is loving the Primitive look- so this star could get me a lot of customers if I used it on totes, pillows, placemats..

Heart Design Wall Stencil

This says it is for a wall stencil, but I have made full on patterns for totes and pillows with it. It doesn’t have them spaced too far together, so I could do one color, another color, the first color, and keep going.. so that it isn’t just one color throughout the entire stencil.

It looks amazing even with just one color. I am loving this design. It didn’t seep through the bottom of the stencil and blend together like some other stencils I’ve used that had a repetitive design.

Guitar Handle Stencil

Who seriously doesn’t love to rock out? Maybe it’s in public, in the car, or at home while cleaning- but everybody LOVES music.

I am a big music fan, and couldn’t resist this amazing stencil. I paired it with the baby blue metallic paint and wa-lah.

I was going to do separate colors for each guitar handle, but when I was doing this I had kids hanging all over me and scared they were going to knock paint into the floor- so this one didn’t turn out all that well. It was my fault not the stencils fault!

Ribbon Heart

How many times have you seen or DONE hearts with names in a ribbon? The truth? Uh-hum—more times than you can count probably. Especially when in high school or college.

I was truly amazed at how well this came out. I blended red with green and the colors didn’t smear at all. I didn’t even give the red time to dry before adding in the green. This is absolutely stunning. I plan on making shirts for the kids with their names in the ribbon.

This is also a stencil that will be used on pillows, pant bottoms, pockets, and totes. Simply beautiful design!

I will totally order more designs. I am already thinking and drooling about all the other beautiful designs they have and which ones I am going to be saving for. I want to order a large amount at a time though, so I have more designs for my business.!

All of these stencils are easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store. Before the paint dries on the stencils, run them under hot water and wipe down with a soapy washcloth and viola the paint comes right off!

I love the smaller 5X5 format- and the animal prints are next on my list!!

There are tons of sizing options and it’s available for every stencil.

Other than just stencils, they also sell paints and brushes.. which I ordered some! =)

I ended up getting 2 paint brushes.. because there is nothing like using a brush specifically FOR what you’re doing. The paint brushes I had is nothing compared to these! These work AMAZING with the stencils!

I got the PaintBrush 8 and Paintbrush 12.  Both of these paintbrushes are VERY high quality. If you wash the tip of the brush after every single use, it is guaranteed to last a very long time.

Brush 12 is bigger than Brush 8, so I use the 12 to do the bigger work on the stencils and the 8 to do the detail work. I can’t complement these brushes ENOUGH! They work perfectly with stencils. They are shaped sort of like makeup brushes so that you can dab the paint in without the paint escaping under the stencils.

I can’t believe I had been stenciling with regular paint brushes.. using these are JUST not the same.

I got 5 paints. All in metallic colors.. and they are fabulous. Of course, I am dying to try the amazing acrylic paints. BUT I’ve never had the chance to work with metallic paints before and wanted to give it a go!

These colors are all hinted with a sparkle to it. I loved this. I have never seen options of metallics where I live. I need to start shopping online for crafting items more.

On the way home from work in the fall of 2004, a young homemaker did something most women have done—she spilled on her favorite handbag. Frustrated by the thought of hunting for a replacement then transferring all the contents, she wished there was a way to just change the outside of the bag. The idea immediately popped into her mind to create a bag with changeable covers. Not to be deterred by her lack of sewing skills, she grabbed her super glue and some scrap fabric, took apart the stained bag, and made the very first prototype. With her rough creation in hand, she set out on a mission to bring the Miche Bag to life.

How do you change your Miche Bag shell?

There’s a choice of four sizes: Petite, Classic, Demi and Prima.

I ended up choosing the Prima Base and 2 shells. I am a Big handbag kind of girl. The Prima Base & Bags are  5″w x 15″l x12″ tall. I loved that they offered all 4 choices, so that no matter what your purse needs are- they have it!

The base includes 20.54″ long handles that are one inch wide. Once attached, create a 10′ handle drop.

The inside of the purse is very big and open. It has 2 interior pockets that are open, so you can slide your cell phone, sunglasses, glasses, or whatever you want inside. It has 4 card slots, so they are at the ready when you need them to be, and a zippered pocket and 2 pen/pencil slots.

Once you have chosen what size base you want, then it’s time to select your shell(s).. The most EXCITING part! There are so many fabulous and beautiful designs that it was SO hard to choose.

I ended up getting: The Parker and Chelsey shells. Oh how beautiful they are♥

I am loving this faux leather crocodile pattern in Chartreuse green. I can wear this bag with just about anything to give it such a great pop of color! It has the metal MICHE emblem in the front and 2 side pockets for extra storage.

It is easy to clean because of the faux leather.. just wipe it down and go! I am loving it! Both of these bags have added such a classy look to my wardrobe. They might just be FAUX leather, but they look and feel real. The only difference is the price tag. Instead of paying $500, you’re only paying $50.

As a mom and a purse hoarder, I am loving that I can just collect the shells and change the outside when and where I want to, without all the hassle of dumping everything out, resorting it, and putting it back.

It takes a max of 1 minute (if that) to unwrap the shell’s magnetic closure, pull the base part of the bag out, and put on a new shell! Wa-lah. Transformed from work day to night out within seconds.. Most easy to do thing I’ve come across in years!

And because I carry so much stuff with me, it’s not only a time saver, but a life and fashion saver as well. Now I won’t be caught with a leopard print purse with nothing leopard on at all.. BRILLIANT and cheap! What mom OR fashionista could turn THIS down? Certainly not me.

I even went to the Doctor for refills and she was asking where I got it. She didn’t know that it changed shells, she just loved the design of the parker- until I explained the convenience of the shells. SHE was amazed, and I was smiling!

The Chelsey bag is a multi=tasker- it can be worn as a purse OR a backpack. It has small loops at the bottom of the bag so you can clip your straps in it for a Backpack- or clip them up top for the purse!

AND- this can be attached to a very long handle (which wasn’t and isn’t included) but this can also triple as a messenger bag. What woman wouldn’t love that? I know I do. I’m totally loving that I can decide whether I need a purse or a backpack for the day! =)

It is a white faux leather which makes it a dream to clean. Just wipe it down when I’m done using it and it’s good to go! Because it’s white, it goes with EVERYTHING no matter what color, so that’s a giant plus!

Instead of having to zip and unzip- all Miche Bags close when you touch the two sides together. It’s the magnetic inside the purse that holds the shells on, that also doubles as a purse closure. I am seriously loving these bags and not sure how I EVER lived without them.

They aren’t just convenient, but made PERFECTLY with storage in mind. I have 2 kids- so naturally I carry my wallet, camera, lotion, perfume, little cosmetic bag, and random stuff that the kids hand me!

Learn How to Raise a World Changing Child with Tips from Christy Little Jones

Raising a world changer is no easy task. Parenting is one of the most difficult, yet most rewarding positions there is! While raising a child with strong, healthy values, it’s important to keep in mind that being an intentional parent produces a great outcome. The same principles apply to child rearing.  What is put into raising, imparting and guiding a child in the present, will harvest a strong, forward-thinking world changer later. Apply these FIVE factors from Christy Little Jones as keys to raising your child to change the world he lives in…and watch him grow.

1.STUDY YOUR CHILD --As the parent of a world-changer child, you must start with a vision. What are your child’s natural gifts? What are their interests? Sit down with each child in your household and ask them what they believe their gifts are and how do they want to use them to bring change into the world? Incorporate their answers with who you know them to be.

2. HAVE A STRATEGIC PLAN. Now that you have identified a few of your child’s gifts, talents and interests, now is the time to start taking action and putting those gifts into practice. Begin to set goals and a purpose with a desired outcome to keep you on track. Depending on the interest and/or gift, ask your child what he would like to do to bring about change in the world using his/her gifts. For example: if your son or daughter loves animals, together, come up with ways that his/her love for animals can change the world. Depending on the age of your child, volunteer at an animal shelter or dog sit for a friend. If reading is your child’s interest, bring her to read to seniors at a retirement community. It’s a great way to serve happiness and impact someone’s life for the better.

3. BE CONSISTENT – Consistency requires commitment and discipline. Consistency is going to be the glue that holds your child’s strategic plan together. If you are wishy-washy or don’t follow through, you can’t expect to gain the same results. Be intentional and have integrity with what you set out to do, so that you can be sure to keep your commitment.

4. ALLOW ROOM FOR EXPLORING – Experience is the best teacher!  When we create the space for our child/ren to explore, learning and development takes place at any age. A child who explores their ideas, thoughts and beliefs through action gains the freedom to engage with others on a deeper level. Exploring helps us to discover who we are, what we like and what we don’t.  Can you imagine creating an environment for your child/ren where “failure” is embraced? What a wonderful gift to give your child.

5. BE YOUR CHILD’S CHEERLEADER! Your words hold power and your position has long-lasting influence. Make the decision to support and encourage your child throughout the trials and tribulations of parenthood.  Be careful with your words; choose them wisely. Be a parent that your son or daughter can trust with their innermost secrets and fears. If your child trusts you, he or she will give you their heart and you will gain access to walking with them along their journey to changing the world!
