Review: Acure Organics- Cell Stimulating Facial Mask

I have found a new mask that is now absolutely necessary in my skin care regimen. The Cell Stimulating Facial Mask is just what I had been on the search for! At only $15.99, this is a must have for anybody!

Thick, Creamy, AND Luxurious? Yes it is. It is nothing but lavish perfectness in a squeeze tube. It feels like a whipped mousse, and it’s dark olive green (like the color on the bottle). Reminds me of a sea monster when I put it on (not that I didn’t look like one before) Hehe

Take, take me away ♪♪! This invigorates not only my skin, but my overall mood. I love the minty tingly feeling this gives my skin as soon as it’s applied. I started using this in my regular skin care regimen every other day, and my skin has thanked me for this!

It lathers on VERY nicely! I love that. It comes in a flip top squeeze bottle, which makes it SO much easier to get out and on my face without a problem. Other face masks that come in the bottles that have no squeeze tube take me forever because I basically have to slam them against the counter and bang on the bottom a million times before anything ever comes out!

I love that it dries within 15 minutes. So I can sit down and read a book, work on a blog post, or just relax until it’s dry. After it’s dry I wash it off with warm water. I love that it becomes foamy after it’s splashed a couple times with water. That way I can work it into my skin even more!

Ingredients:

The ingredients are amazing as well. It has tons of amazingly competent skin healing and anti-aging ingredients. They include: Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF), Coenzyme Q10 (Co Q10), & Moroccan Argan stem cells.

Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF) actually helps the skin to build healthy skin cells, while protecting collagen and elastin in your skin. This helps keep your skin young looking and lively. Coenzyme Q10 (Co Q10) is an antioxidant that also helps to prevent skin from early aging (from free radicals). Moroccan Argan stem cells leave skin soft, silky, and feeds & restores the skin cells.

This face mask also includes French Green Clay. The French Green Clay is what gives this mask it’s coloring. It faithfully drinks in the oils, impurities, and toxins that are in our skin. It has a toning ability that activates the skin by transporting fresh blood to damaged and corrupted skin cells.

SeaBuckthorn Oil is another ingredient in this mask that I feel is vital to healthy skin. It is amazing at boosting cell tissue growth, improving the health of skin tissue and wounds, and slows the aging process of skin because of the high levels of Vitamin A & C (which are also natural skin smoothers, which work great for acne).

Since I have been using this my skin is tighter, my pores seem smaller, and my complexion brighter. I don’t usually break out, but sometimes I get those tiny little pimples that makeup won’t even cover up. Since I’ve been using this face mask, not even one pesky bump has popped up!

I get clogged pores very easily. Blackheads tend to pop up on my nose. No matter what I do, they always come back. It’s because my skin is so naturally oily. Animal Print Bedding

Christmas is less than 45 days away! I can’t believe time has flown by that quickly, but it has. Have you gotten all your shopping done? Or are you waiting for Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales? OR do you do last minute shopping?

I try and get stuff here and there throughout the year, so that it isn’t so much money at the end of the year. I don’t make much money. I have to say that I’ve had my eye on some beautiful animal print bedding sets from Image Bedding!

Giraffes, leopards and zebras – oh boy! I didn’t use to be into the whole animal print stuff. EVERYBODY was doing it, so it took away the “uniqueness” for me. I like to try and get stuff that not EVERYBODY does have.

But now that they have colored animal print stuff (pink, yellow, green, blue.. etc) I am ALL over it. It adds the uniqueness that I love without it being too plain. I want to enliven my bedroom with the green zebra print complete bedding set that they have! It’s on the top of my wish list.!

I love lime green. It has been my favorite color forever! AND I am totally psyched that they have it in an animal print!

These are hands-down my absolute favorite. I love the swirly pretty designs on these. I love that the designs are white too. You can wear these with any color solid bathing suit (no matter what color sarong you have) and that color is going to bring out the color of your bathing suit or bikini.

This is the first time that I’ve actually seen the short sarongs. I really like them. They are SO different from the longer sarongs. This is what I’d wear to the beach or an amusement park. They wouldn’t get in the way, easy to take off, and easy to put back on. No struggling getting shorts on and off if you go to the restroom or get a snack.!

Review: Eye Candy Coolers. De-stressing your Eyes!

As a mom of 2 small kids under 5, I don’t get to treat myself to the spa because of the cost. The next best thing is facials, aromatherapy, and eye candy coolers.

They ended up sending me 2 packs of their soothing eye candy coolers- I chose Chillin’ Cucumber (Green) and Tart ‘n Tangy Tangerine (Orange/Yellow). They are amazing. You just pop them in the freezer, refrigerator, or a glass of cold ice water.

I put mine in the top door of my refrigerator as soon as they came in the mail, because I wanted to use them the same night. I got out my face mask, put it on, turned on some soothing music, and put the eye coolers on.

I love that they work to reduce puffiness and fine lines, help to minimize dark circles, stress and tension headaches, and allergy symptoms. I have dark circles and puffiness around my eyes and frequently get stress headaches- so I was more than ready to use them!

The Green Eye Candy coolers are made to resemble the real deal of cucumber eye covers. I love the cool cucumber look! I have done the cucumber on the eyes to reduce swelling and dark circles, but the slimy seedy mess that’s left behind is gross.

Now I can sit back for 10 minutes and relax with the eye candy coolers, put them back in their zippered clear case, and back in the refrigerator. I don’t have to go to the grocery, buy the cucumber, and wash and cut it- and then deal with clean-up. This is TONS better.

The coolness of these little amazing pillow like eye covers help me escape from the tornados that I call my children. My overworked/stressed/black circled eyes were very grateful for these eye covers!

I’ve been using these once a week during my “me” at home spa time, and I’ve noticed that my stress/sinus headaches have gotten less aggressive.

I’m not promising that this is AS great as escaping to a luxurious hotel, where you get your own massage table brought to your room, a mini fridge filled with cake, and a mini-bar.. but as a mom- it’s closer than I’ll ever be.

Review: Pentel EnerGel Deluxe RTX Gel Pen #PentelofAmerica

I love a smooth writing experience. Who doesn’t? Pentel has provided JUST that! I was super excited to open my surprise box from them. They sent me some very amazing random gifts to show you, but I want to focus on one at a time!

This amazing EnerGel Deluxe RTX Gel Pen comes in a variety of colors. The one I got was violet, and it’s a very deep purple. This is Part of the "Pink by Pentel" product line.

This pen hits 100% on my comfortable list. I love the very cushiony rubber-like grip on this pen. It makes for amazing writing capability, and writing for longer periods of time because my hand doesn’t cramp up. The gripper is latex-free, so if you’re allergic to latex, you’ll be thrilled to hear this!

The stainless steel tip, the sleek & stylish barrel, the stainless steel accents, it all comes to one thing! A very professional looking pen that also adds a bit of color to your life! I fell in love with this pen from the very first use. It is such a classy looking pen!

The pen has a unique blend of liquid and gel ink. It dries very quickly, writes extremely smooth, and never dries out. The ink is acid-free, so if your kids dig through your purse or climb up on your desk and write on themselves- no harm done, just wash it off!

I love the color it writes. It makes a great pen for the office, school, notes, to-do lists, writing notes to my kids teacher, grocery lists, and SO much more. This pen has been attached to my side 27/4 since I got it.

I love that it’s retractable. I don’t like pens that have tops, because with me- I either end up losing them (if they don’t attach to the top of the pen) or my kids do. So I end up with a pen with no top. This one easily retracts so I can keep it clipped to my pocket, purse, or clipboard at the office. No more searching forever!

I love the quality of the ink. I can write forever without any skips, bubbles, or no ink coming out. The ink only takes approximately 3 seconds to dry. So if you’re left handed, and looking for an amazing pen (for work, school, or home) this is what you need. NO smearing!

I am impressed not only with the quality of the ink, but the prettiness (and sophistication) of the pen! This looks so great sitting on my desk in my pen holder. Much more professional than any other pen! KUDOS to Pentel! Absolutely amazing (coming from someone who writes practically 24/7).

Review: Yves Rocher “So Elixir Purple”

Yves Rocher is an amazing company that has been alive for over 50 years! They were one of the FIRST companies to actually flat out refuse using animals as testing subjects. This is AMAZING. They didn’t do it because it was “the next big thing”. They did it because it was close to their hearts not to include animals as test subjects!

They use earth-friendly packaging and use as many natural ingredients as possible. I was excited when the Yves Rocher company included me in the reviewing of their new product So Elixir Purple.

As you can tell, the packaging and the bottle are both elegant, sophisticated and downright stunning. I love that the bottle has an hourglass shape, it makes for something new in the perfume category.

I love that the bottle is clear, but yet looks purplish because of the very beautiful coloring of the perfume. It looks so classy and actually lets the focus of the beauty remain on the perfume color.

I opened the bottle and was immediately STUNNED by the exceptional quality of the perfume. It immediately made me think of “alluring, sexy, enchanting, and magical.”. They did a GREAT job of making me absolutely LOVE this perfume.

Never in my life have I smelled something so wonderful. If I ever had to think up a smell for a “LOVE potion”, I think it would be similar to this. It is so captivating, yet doesn’t have an overly strong “perfume” smell. It just has such a captivating, intoxicating fragrance that anybody would be sure to love.

The unique combination of an incredibly feminine infusion of Tuberose with essential Oils of Vetiver and Patchouli in a floral-woody elixir. I love that each of the ingredients being out such a uniqueness.

Bergamot has brought such cool undertone to this perfume. It is well known in perfumes for being able to blend other fragrances together, letting them fully compliment each other. In THIS particular perfume, it makes me think of a purplish midnight moon.

The Tuberose is a night-blooming plant, so this adds to the mystery of the smell. It has a very sweet, exotic gardenia type of smell. It blends very well with the bergamot extract, so it brings a sweet, enchanting, come-hither fragrance.

The vetiver has a smooth, earthy scent. This is what brings the “woody” smell to the floral-woody elixir. It makes me think of a light smoky almost citrusy scent. This is why it blends so well with the other fragrances. They have the same “citrus” undertone, yet each bring something totally different and exciting to the “fragrance” table.

 

They now have not only the perfume but spray deodorant, lotion, and shower gel as well. (YUM) Gotta  get me the others! It is fresh, floral, fruity, and herbal all in the same. It makes me have that sexy confident smell. It is warm, soft, and everyone LOVES the smell as I pass by.

It’s great for day, night, and every occasion. This is a brilliantly made perfume, and I LOVE it!

Have I mentioned that I LOVE office supplies? If I won $1000 and didn’t have clothes or stuff to buy for the kids, it would all go on office supplies. I love fresh paper, new pens, and bookshelves..

For those of you who are like ME, or know someone who is an office supply junkie.. Shoplet offers a variety of Office supplies. With the holidays right around the corner.. Think about checking into some of their amazing products!

When Shoplet introduced me to some new C-Line Products, I immediately jumped on it. (You KNEW I would). They ended up sending me 2 products to try out, and I LOVED both of them! They sent the C-line Expanding File with Handles and a C-line Bound Sheet Protector Presentation Book.

The first item I want to tell you about is the C-line Expanding File with Handles. I love it because it looks so professional, stylish, and beautiful yet looks like a briefcase. Having those must-need files aren’t such a problem now.

I love that it looks like a briefcase, until it’s opened up. Then you get to see the 13 expandable pockets that let you keep everything organized. It has a velcro closure to keep everything secure without falling out or being too tightly closed.

It comes with the color coded tab dividers. You can write on them or feed them through your printer, if you don’t have great handwriting. I love that it expands SO much (it can easily hold 300 documents). BUT I can use less documents and keep my tablet inside, so that my documents both electronic and paper are inside.

In my expandable file, you’ll find all my business information. I just went into business with my mom. She bought a local shop and we’ll be doing retail. She put all the money up front, but I am the brains behind the operation. I am going to be keeping up with the tax information, finding all the tax deductions, and keeping the spending down.

SO- it’s great that I can take this with me and have it on hand. Without this, I feel like I would be MUCH less organized when traveling from store to home. The information and documents could become lost, crumpled, or ripped and I definitely don’t need that. This is absolutely the PERFECT size!

The next product I was sent was the C-line Bound Sheet Protector Presentation Book. This is also something I really really like. Like I said with the expanding file folder- I needed something like this for the new business.

This is for presenting projects, but this will also help business owners. I can now keep track of best-selling items, websites that sell wholesale that I would like to purchase from, and items that have the most profit.

Having stuff I need on hand is absolutely the most important thing. When I can take everything I need with me, it makes the business life SO much easier. I love this because it can fit right inside the expanding file folder, so it’s right there with my other information!

It is VERY durable, so I don’t have to worry about it getting torn up, ripped, or the covers coming off. I love that it has a pocket in the front for extra papers or a to-do list of things printed if necessary.

This has many, many uses. If you aren’t in college or work at a company where you would present something- you could use it in other ways. It could be used for recipes, crafts, or pictures!

Printable Online Coupons

The Holidays are right around the corner, Thanksgiving coming next week. I can’t believe time has passed so quickly. I try and save money throughout the year, so there’s more money for the holidays.
One way I try and save money is by searching and printing online coupons. When you search for coupons in your area, you’ll see relevant stores that carry coupons for you to use.
I love that I don’t have to click through and eliminate stores that aren’t in my area at all. That’s a MAJOR time saver, as well as money saver. There’s always new coupons, so that you aren’t constantly just seeing reoccurring coupons.
The best thing about online coupons is that you can print as many as you want. You can only USE one at a time (for each product or service) but you know that if it’s something that you use a lot, that you’ll have the coupon the next time (like carpet cleaning or shopping for groceries).
I ALSO love that there are coupons for MAJOR stores like WalMart, Old Navy, Target, Macy’s, and more. These are the top dollar coupons, like “save 75% on clearance and closeouts”, “Free Shipping on $99+, and “free Exchanges with Purchase”.
Any way that I can save money on Holiday items is a must for my family as well. If I can get something for cheap, it makes it that much better. The more money I save, makes more money for other things we need (or want).
I love finding toy coupons online. There’s usually quite a few. AND they are pretty valuable. Buying 1 Fisher Price toy for $20 and getting $5 off, so in the end- it’s only $15. This is a great way to go holiday shopping.

As a parent, I LOVE anything that makes my day a little easier. Not to mention finding something that is made from parents! I mean, who knows KIDS more than parents? When it comes to potty training, I needed all the help I could get!

Pourty Potty is an amazing little potty that helps kids not only learn to potty train, but makes it easier for parents to clean up afterward. With Aidan- I bought tons of different potty training helpers. I bought the potty training toilet that sounded like it flushed, and had all the bells and whistles- and it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. He didn’t care about all that!

What I learned from HIM was that he needed something that he felt comfortable sitting on. Some potties that sit higher tend to make kids feel like they are going to flip over. The Pourty Potty helps kids feel confident because it is closer to the ground Adisyn could sit without feeling wobbly.

It has a roomy, flat seating area which helps for them to sit easily. Because she felt more stable, she would sit for a longer period of time- which ended up helping finishing up her potty training.

I love that it has an easy to grip handle, so that I can just grab it and dump it as needed. Unlike the other “fancy” potties that require you to take this and that off before your ACTUALLY at the potty part. They DO look fun to the kids, but for the mom it can be quite the chore when you have to clean it! Plus, those potties are hard to grip making it easier to spill and get toddler mess all over the floor. Watch the Video here

Now I can just dump it, stick it under the bath tub faucet, fill it up with water, and re-dump it back into the toilet. SO it’s VERY easy to clean. It is made with sturdy plastic, and very low to the ground which makes it hard for the kids to knock it over. It’s very cheap in price- so overall it’s an amazing deal.
