Since I’ve upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S4, it’s become a constant companion to me. It’s become a necessity for keeping me organized, on time, and entertained. I wanted to make sure that it remains in one piece, so I started checking out the Otterbox Galaxy S4 Defender Series Build Your Own Case.

My kids play games and watch cartoons on my phone, so I needed tough. I needed to know that the case offered great protection and definite stability should there be an accidental drop. This Galaxy S4 case is made of three layers that work together to protect when I least expect it and needed it the most.

• Multi-layered case includes a polycarbonate inner layer, built-in screen protector and outer slipcover

Two-piece polycarbonate plastic inner shell snaps together around the phone. It fits snugly, while allowing access to the charger port and speaker jack. It also allows access to the camera without the flash catching any part of the shell.

There are ten different colors available for the plastic inner layer. Of course, I chose the lime green! I loved that lime was an option, since it is my absolute favorite color! I really love how the other colors look as well though. There are so many different looks you can create just with the inner/outer shells.

The inner layer contains a built in screen protector. I love this because it keeps my phone fingerprint free while my kids are playing with it. It doesn’t effect the ability of the touch-screen on the phone either, which I also love.

I can text or send an email with very receptive touch ability with the screen protection and plastic case on. My kids can play their games without getting anything directly on the screen, which is awesome! It protects against scratches and smudges without comprimising anything!

The outer shell is rubber, so it absorbs the shock of an accidental drop. I’ve had my share of “oh NO” moments already and am SUPER glad that the phone was protected by an Otterbox. It fell screen first onto the floor after my daughter stood up and forgot it was on her lap. After a gasp and quick inspection… there was NO damage!

The rubberized outer shell is available in 8 different colors. Mixed with the inner case, there are 80 different varieties you could make with them! How awesome is that? Whether it’s your favorite colors, your school colors, or your favorite teams colors!

 

This case has been awarded the Best Case/Accessory for the S4 by both Business Insider & PC Mag! This is for great reason! It is tough and rugged yet looks amazing! It allows access to all jacks, charging ports while also offering protection from dust.

Each layer is easy to get on, taking under a minute to fully complete the setup. If you have to take them off, the inside layer is pretty tough to get off. I’ve figured it out and it’s easy now—just work one side (left) and work your way around, unsnapping as you go.

I couldn’t imagine not having the Otterbox to protect my S4. The phone is extremely light and thin, and seems very delicate without the case. I’m in love with my case, and you could be as well! Get yours now!

Winter Style Must-Have! Bamboo Shoes, flats, & Boots #MustHave

Do you have tons of clothes, only to find out that you’ve been wearing the same couple pair of shoes with each outfit? As a woman, I love shopping for new shoes but as a mom I am always looking for ways to save money.

Have you seen the wedge sneakers? I really like these black ones, not so sure on the brown ones. I’d definitely wear a pair under jeans, they look really awesome. These would be better for those jeans that are flared/ wide-leg!

I am really loving the slouchy boot & riding boots look for this fall/winter! It has been super cold here and boots are a must! Whether they are flats or have heels, boots look AMAZING paired with jeans for a casual look or even dressed up under your work clothes!

Fashion Review Hotter Shoes: Honiton Leather Moccasins #FashionReview #HolidayGiftGuide2013

Shoes! I LOVE shoes! I have a closet full of boots, sneakers, flats, heels, and flip flops. I was missing a pair of great quality moccasins. That’s the first thing I looked at on the Hotter Shoes website.

Fashion and comfort have definitely merged with these amazing Honiton Moccasin Shoes. They are available in 4 different colors; black, beige, red, and navy blue. They look so casual yet sophisticated at the same time, who could resist?

I ended up choosing the black pair. I wanted a color that would give me the option of wearing with a variety of clothes. I can honestly say that these look amazing with everything! I can wear them with slacks AND jeans and feel amazing in both!

The are SO comfortable! I love how well they fit, snug yet not tight. I ordered an 8 1/2 and they are definitely true to size, which is amazing! The soles are lightweight yet SO cushioned because of the millions of tiny air bubbles that are inside.

The leather is so buttery soft, it feels so amazing to slip these on! I am loving that I can be comfortable while looking stylish at the same time! These would be great for Church or work because of how dressy they look.

I love the decorative stitching. It contrasts with the leather to give them a unique, sophisticated style. They slip right on and gently snug my feet so I’m comfy wherever I go. They have tasseled ties on the top, so you can adjust how tight they are.

The back of the shoe is slightly padded, so it keeps the back from wearing down and pressing into the heel. This also makes them super comfortable and my feet feel relaxed all day. I could immediately tell that these shoes are very well made and of the best quality leather by how soft yet durable they are.

My Review*

My hair can be tangly and unmanageable before I shower, and it just does a 180* after! It helps hair health by treating the damaged parts of my hair & split ends. It also helps nourish my hair by adding moisture (yet not too much). My hair looks so much healthier, had more shine/gloss, and feels SO silky!

This is a once a week treatment that I couldn’t live without now. It works immediately (the first use) and continues to heal the hair with each use. I’ve had people compliment me on my shiny, glossy, healthy looking hair and I owe it ALL to Marc Anthony Hair Care.

The conditioning treatment is thick, creamy, and SO silky. I have super long hair and only had to use a quarter of the packet for one use! I thought that was pretty awesome! More for your money!

My Review*

My hair is already straight by nature, but I have a bad case of the frizz if I don’t use a blow-dry cream. I am in love with this one because it’s lightweight and I don’t have to use very much at all.

What I love most about this is that it’s a blow-dry cream YET it’s also GREAT for your hair. It adds much needed nourishment and tames frizz for a perfect look every time. This is the only product out of the entire line that smells a little different from the rest. It still smells amazing but different from the shampoo/conditioner/style products.

It has a light, whipped, creamy texture and blends right in when I apply it. There’s no residue or gunky feeling after I’ve dried my hair. I love that I can still have the manageability of flowing hair, yet all my frizz is gone!

My Review*

The Dry Styling Oil has been an absolute godsend. I wear my hair up while I tan and around the house when I’m cleaning, and that makes bumps in my hair. I can now just spray the styling oil on my hair and re-straighten it before I head out. It makes styling my hair so much more convenient.

It feels very much like a serum because of how lightweight it is. It can be put on damp OR dry hair. I’ve done it both ways and it STILL never makes my hair oily in the least! It’s just a fine spray mist that instantly absorbs into the hair.
