DIY Nails: Fall/Halloween Candy Corn Nails

Disclosure-not sponStep-by-step on how to get a candy corn Halloween nail look from Skyy Hadley, celebrity manicurist and owner of As U Wish Nail Salon.

 

1. Paint one half of the nail in white (Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Get Mod) and the other in yellow (Lauren B. Coachella Valley Sun).

2. Apply nail art stickers (hole reinforcers cut in half). Apply two on each nail as shown below.nailnail2

 

 

 

 

 

3. Working on one nail at a time, paint the area inside the stickers with orange nail polish (Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Tribal Sun).

4. Carefully remove the stickers.

5. Repeat on all other nails. Allow 5 minutes for your nail design to dry and finish it with a coat of a top coat (Lauren B. Gel-like Top Coat).

9 Spook-tastic DIY Halloween Decorations For Kids

Halloween is here, which means tons of ideas on making your home into a haunted wonderland. We don’t go out and do terrifyingly scary, but there is just something about Halloween that makes my kids go giddy crazy. They love dressing up, trick-or-treating, and of course the candy!

My kids love crafting no matter what it is, so I’ve compiled some amazing homemade decorations that you can make with your kids. These projects aren’t going to take a ton of time (we all want something quick and easy right?) More than anything it should be FUN and not cost too much.
