Tommee Tippee Review

I was chosen to review some Tommee Tippee Products from The Mom Bloggers Club.

image

I fell in love with the products as soon as I seen them. They were brightly colored and very attractive.

The Sippy $4.99

image

You can see the Tommee Tippee Expolora Cups {here}

I received the waterbottle (stage 4) which has a dura-spout for kids on the go and is also dishwasher safe. Although I don’t have a dishwasher, this still was by far the easiest sippy cup I have cleaned. Usually you have to pop something out of the top of the sippy and clean both parts.

and they are so difficult to clean. I have to literally BOIL the rubber piece sometimes. Especially when she drinks juice or something. so I was glad to have had the chance to review the Tommee Tippee sippee.

The advance-flo™ valve used in Explora cups was designed by a physicist and requires almost no force to drink from, yet still remains spill- and leak-proof.

Features and Benefits
-BPA- and Phthalate-free
-Patented advance-flo valve for guaranteed easy drinking
-Super-sensitive Active Sensor valve is truly spill-proof and leakproof,
yet allows liquid to flow on demand.

but she can’t. I even tried myself. If you shake it REALLY REALLY hard it will come out but if your a kid just trying to make a mess, it won’t happen. You should have seen my carpets before I shampooed them. The milk stains galore from Adisyn spilling her bottles and sippies on the floor, for some reason- she thinks it’s funny. She gets in trouble for it, but sometimes still tries to. That’s the reason I loved this sippee so much, because it wouldn’t let her spill it, and it was so easy to clean.

Prices of the cups
Trainer Cup 1 pack 9 oz $4.99
Trainer Cup 2 pack 9 oz $7.99
Sippy Cup 2 pack 11 oz $7.99
Straw Cup 2 pack 9 oz $7.99
Water Bottle 1 pack 12 oz $4.99
Drinking Cup 2 pack 9 oz $7.99

so they aren’t high priced either.

The Easi Mat $6.99

image

This kept me from having a headache during breakfast. Usually this little monkey tries to sling her bowl when she’s done with it. So I usually just put her food on the tray that goes with her seat. But I gave this bowl a chance, and it SO passed expectations. She couldn’t rip the bowl off the tray, no matter how hard she tried. (Make sure you DO wet the bottom of the mat before sticking it).. This mat will stick to ANY flat surface..and I mean ANY..I even stuck it to the wall to show you guys..This mat will hold all Tommee Tippee bowls and plates in place (and most other bowls), preventing spills so that they can learn to eat without all the mess.

Features and Benefits
-BPA- and Phthalate-free
-Easi-Mat holds bowls and plates securely in place with release tab for less mess
-Rolls up easy for storage
-Suitable for use with all Tommee Tippee tableware and most other brands of bowls and plates
*For best results, wipe all surfaces with a damp cloth and attach dish to suction device in the middle of  the mat.
-To release tab, pull the tab at the back of the suction device

It comes in 4 awesome colors =)

The Bowl-

Weaning Bowls (2) and Lid w/ Spoon $4.99

Adisyn really loved this bowl, and so did I. It was easy to clean and it was very easy to snap on the top. (It came with 2 bowls, and 1 lid) The lid snaps on both bowls and has a place to fit the spoon. I put WATER in the bowl and snapped the lid on- and just to see if would leak- turned it upside down and no water escaped. So this would be great to send applesauce, fruit, or soup in without the worries.

They have hit moms in a place where we needed to be reached. Awesome products with simple yet beautiful and well designed. Cool =)

The picture I took of the spoon was too bright and you couldn’t see the bend in the spoon like I wanted, so I got the one off their website

image

It is shaped like no other baby spoon I had seen before. Adisyn could hold it in her hand perfectly without all the gawkiness of the long baby spoons I have..The actual spoon part was a lot bigger than the spoon (pictured below). She loved the Tommee Tippee spoons because she could actually fit something in her mouth without the long handle and narrow spoon.

They also have these other awesome spoons..Heat Sensing.

If your babies food is too hot the spoon will turn colors to let you know. Isn’t that cool?

You can see the company background info {here}.

Earn Money Tweeting

Sponsored Tweets have advertisers that want to pay you for tweeting their messages. This isn’t a scam. I wouldn’t pass something like this on to you if it were. I have only been doing this for like a week or so and have $0.72 plus I’m pending $0.50 to the account. No, this isn’t a lot but it adds up. You can withdraw at $5.00 and the tweets only take like a second to do. This is a way to make some extra change for something you do anyway. The tweets aren’t scams either, they all lead to REAL businesses who just need the word of mouth advertising that bloggers and tweeters are great at..

They base it on how many followers you have. I only have like 200 or something like that and I get paid 0.24 cents a tweet. Although you can take the under-paid ones also. They show you this on this on you homepage.

This is at the top of your page so you can access your account and see your opportunities to tweet

image

You can click on opportunities and see this

image

I don’t have but 1 because I already took advantage of it and tweeted all they gave me.

Mr. President George Washington {Book Review}

image

This book was orginally published in 1904 under the title “A Compilation of the Messages and Papers of the Presidents.”  The introduction is copyrighted by Dream Books LLC.

Do American’s really understand what it was like to be the very first President of the United States?

They probably know that he was from Virginia and that his father died when he was 11. They probably know that he didn’t have children of his own and that he married a woman by the name of Martha Custis. But do they know what it was like as a PRESIDENT? The very FIRST president?

This book Mr. President George Washington lets you in on the secrets of what it was like. It is George Washington’s own WORDS and his own writings. I had never before seen this side. To see what it was like to have to stand up to the citizens expectations. It shows a history in which few know and understand.

He wasn’t a boasting type of president. He was always humble and glad to serve his people. He accepted his term with dignity and grace, thankful that his people had chosen him to be leader. He was a general turned president and left behind great accomplishments for other presidents to follow.

This shows how hard it was to be inside the very first inauguration. It had a lot of details planned out such as who came through which door to sit beside who, who hands this to the other, who follows this one to the other room to for the official sign in. It must have been like a screenplay or something.

But overall this book was a good book, but if you get bored reading speeches then this book isn’t for you. It is kind of hard to read it to be just reading it, because of the sophisticated manner in which they used to talk in. The very thought of seeing INSIDE the presidency is what captured me and pulled me in. If  you can read the bible then you can read this. It’s just that I had to google some words to find out what they meant, because I had never seen nor heard of them before. The words were vicissitudes and predilection. But I would recommend this to someone if they were researching him or just wanted to know about him.

He was a very inspirational man and he wanted a lot more for his country than we all knew about. This book lets you understand the sheer depths of this mans love for his country and his people.

This book is available on Amazon kindle for $1.99 if you know someone who would like to have it. It’s perfect for History Junkies or people who just like to learn stuff {Like me}

p.s. I was in no way MADE or Persuaded to write this review. I didn’t receive money or a fabulous nice car or anything like that…

About “Me”- Monday

I want to give all you “friends” a chance to know me as well as getting to know you. So I am starting this blog hop in hopes that new people will join and those of you who are already here get the most out of blogging. I love sharing and I love for people to get to know the real “me” behind the blog.

Okay- so this doesn’t have to be in order or your birth story or a long and grueling story…
it can be about whatEVER you choose it to be. What you want others to know about you.
If this is a success then I will make a button for it..

If you are interested in co-hosting with me- give me a shout out in my email..

SO- here is mine..

About Me- Monday
My name is Jessica (better known as Jess) or Jessi. I am 21 years old and have already been a mom for 3 years. Young, huh? Yeah I know- but it is all worth it and never do I wish I had something else in life. I believe that everything happens for a reason (either to make you stronger or to make you a better person).

My kids are the center of my world. They make me laugh. they make me cry. and sometimes they make me want to pull my hair out. I love it though. Wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

I spank. YES I said it. I SPANK my kids. Not hard. I don’t beat them or bruise them or make them cry for an hour straight..but I do spank their little butts for doing stuff they know not to, such as trying to stick stuff in the light sockets and crazy stuff that will get them hurt.

I am a NERD and I am proud of it. I love to read and learn. I can’t get enough of it. ALMOST all the time I am reading {when I am not chasing kids} I self teach myself anything I want to know.

If I won a million dollars- I would probably get myself a house with a half studio/ kids playroom. I would help my Grandma and mom out and then donate the rest to literacy funds and sick kids as well as premature babies..

I was born to be a writer. I feel so “enveloped” when writing. It is so hard for me to pour my soul out to someone in spoken words, but buddy give me a pen and some paper and I could just about make anyone love it.

I borrow books from my library and write down “EVERY single word” in the book I check out. Like right now I am teaching myself to design webpages..I know I know. But it’s the way I learn. If I don’t WRITE it, then the words escape from my head…

I wish I had more time to pamper myself. It would be amazing to be able to paint my toes without some of them looking like a preschooler did it..{because in fact I have to keep the toddlers from touching them and trying to steal the nail polish)..

So that’s where I am going to end it.

You can add about you. It can be as long or as short as you want it to be. You can use mine as a template or make up your own. ANYTHING goes…

Hope to get some of you guys interested in this…
