Stop Censorship* Stop SOPA

This blog is taking a STAND against SOPA, so we will not be active today..

Congress is about to vote on the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). If passed, this bill will allow the United States government to censor the Internet.

Stop American Censorship

On Wednesday Jan. 18th thousands of sites will go dark to protest SOPA & PIPA, two US bills racing through Congress that threaten prosperity, online security, and freedom of expression.

My First Interview: @ Mommy Community

Mom Blogger Interview: Jessica of Made By Jess

Meet Jessica of Made by Jess.
Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging, so that I could find a new way to connect with other moms, and eventually get my handmade business off the ground. It became more than just that. I started reviewing products, joining hops, and making the most awesome blogger friends. I have come so far with the blog, and I love being a part of the blog community.
What are your goals for your blog going forward?
I am trying everything I can to spread the word about my blog, so I can get as many friends.followers as I can, so that I will have a readership already at hand when I launch my business off the ground. I have been preparing for more than over a year for this. Teaching myself new techniques, reading new exciting craft books, and trying the best I can to produce quality handmade items that people would enjoy receiving as well as giving.
Are you active in Social Media? What do you enjoy about it?
I am active in Social Media, and I love that everybody is so networked these days. It is so easy to be able to stay in constant contact with people: to further myself, my blog, and my company.
If you had to pick a favorite post on your blog what would it be and why do you like it best?
I really like my “Perfume Pointers” Blog Post because I would love to write more articles. I have been trying to gain followers for awhile, so I post mostly reviews and giveaways. I do need to post more “me” posts. But this one rocks right now.

Show me some comment ♥ and head on over HERE

      Promgirl.net Review

      image

PromGirl.net is an online shop that offers dresses for just about any occasion. Dresses for Prom, Military Balls, Homecoming, Formal, Cocktails.. and more. Most of these dresses could also be used as bridesmaid dresses.

      Mac Duggal prom 2011

They have the best designers, who bring out the best in fabrics, colors, cuts, and fabric flows. They carry a variety of collections from America’s top designers like: Clarisse,Tony Bowls,  Terani and Scala. They have a design for everyone, that’s sure to make you feel gorgeous. =)

The dresses are hand-made and hand-beaded, and are shipped super fast. They are shipped within 1-2 days of processing.

I spent more than 45 minutes looking through all of their designs. Each have their own beautiful look, and you can’t help but to secretly want them all.

The biggest worry when picking out a dress is that someone might be wearing a similar dress and you won’t feel as stunning on a night you should shine..

Now, it’s a no- worry thing, there are so many different dresses to choose from and they are all to-die-for. There isn’t anything that could make you feel less stunning, even if someone IS wearing the same dress. There are so many ways to personalize these dresses to make them unique to your taste. Adding the right jewelry, shoes, and clutch will do the trick.

Here are some of my favorite Prom Dresses

      Blush Prom Dress 012

I really love this one because of the smooth colors, layering of the fabric and adding of the bow. Such a beautiful dress. I would even consider this as THE WEDDING DRESS. I am not one to go by tradition and be stuck wearing all white. I want something amazing, breathtaking, and fabulous.

      Blush Prom Dress 9203

I really love the artsy feel of this dress. I would wear this just for a date with the hubby… I would feel glamorous, and he would love seeing me in it. Love the mix of colors and added embellished flower. I love the fact that it’s strapless and would look just as gorgeous with a shall thrown over the shoulders.

For a more formal looking Prom Dress

      Blush Prom Dress 5030

I love the black and white contrast. This dress is beautifully designed to the very last detail. Love the flow, love the embellishments..

      My favorite Cocktail Dresses

Cocktail dresses or formal short dresses are very popular choices for prom because of their overall wardrobe versatility. You can dress up a very basic cocktail dress with jewelry or scarves and wear it for virtually any function or prom dress party.

      Clarisse 1615

I really love the look of this dress. Again with the Black and White Contrast, the embellishments, the fall of the dress, and the belt. This is a rockin dress. You could wear it with Black high heels, accessories, and clutch and be ready to rule the world.

      Homecoming dress 1406

I love the brown tones in this dress. The gold overlay just makes it look twice as stunning. The belt and no straps make it look so classy. I’m not sure I could pull this off, but I still love it. A girl can dream =)

and the Prom Dresses 2012 are so stunning, jaws are sure to drop..

      2012 Ball Gown Clarisse 17199

Isn’t it amazing? Look at all those colors..

Sexy Silver Gray Prom Dress 17207

This is so awesome with the different layers, and different color for each layer. It creates a drama effect, and draws all attention to the dress. Love the way that this is made. =)

      Clarisse 2012 Ball Gown 17139

Be the princess you were born to be in this dress. This dress is just calling out “feminine love”. I love this.

Tony Bowls 2012 Green Prom Dress 112752

Of course, I had to throw something green in the mix. I can’t live without it. This dress is so sexy and sophisticated that both sexes would be drooling all over you. Make sure to stuff some napkins inside your clutch.. to wipe the drool off..

They also sell accessories such as breast increasers and invisible bra for strapless looks. They also sell body shapers so you aren’t worrying about lumps and panties being out of sort all night..

They also sell shoes.. So you can get everything within one store and aren’t dragging yourself all over the universe trying to find the perfect pair..

      Bermuda

I love these shoes because they would go with just about any dress you choose..

and if I were wearing a black dress, I would go with these

      Paradise High Heel

      Paradise High Heel

If you would like a chance to win a dress go visit the Promgirl Facebook page which runs a Free Dress Giveaway once a month!

*DISCLOSURE* This isn’t a sponsored review, all opinions in this blog post are my own. I haven’t yet, but will receive a dress for this write-up, but it was in exchange for a completely honest review.

I want to thank Promgirl for working with me, and you will see the review of the dress as soon as I get it..

      Shavewell Mirror Review & Giveaway

The Shave Well Company Truly Fog Free Shower Shave Mirror

I hate when I take a shower and get out and have makeup running down my face because of the mascara. I usually go right to the mirror after getting out of the shower.
No need for that anymore. The Shavewell mirror is easy to install. It comes with a handy little hook that attaches to the wall of your shower. This hook lets you take the mirror off the hook, so you can use it without it being attached to the wall.
For infomation on what Fog is and why the Shavewell mirror works best with it click here
      How the Mirror works:
Simply hold The Shave Well Company mirror under the shower spray for 2-3 seconds...and fog eliminated! The adhesive hook securely holds your mirror in place yet allows you to remove the mirror from the wall for easy cleaning. Then you can use it to shave in the shower with no problem. I used it to wash my make up off my face and to remove those pesky mascara lines that show up after I get the cleaning done.
It was also an awesome way to shave under the arms in the shower. Before I was straining my neck to make sure I didn’t miss any spots. How embarrassing would that be in the summer? Too much for me. Although this is winter, and nobody would really see it, I still don’t want to take the chance. It’s awesome because you can remove it off it’s hook, and hold it up to your underarm while you shave with the other hand. Perfect!
The perfect way to shave {for men} is in the shower. The moisture relaxes the hair and makes it less of a hassle. It also lets you get closer to the skin, so your hairlessness lasts longer. When men shave at the sink, they need to use the hottest water possible to tame that hair. Now they can just use the Fogless shave mirror to shave in the shower. This is also cutting down on water bills and time. They aren’t having to shave in the sink and THEN take a shower. All in one now.. and no more messes on the bathroom sink. A plus for them and a plus for us!
Cleaning the Shaveless mirror is also easy. All you have to do it take it off it’s hook and clean it with non-abrasive toothpaste {no baking soda or whitening toothpaste} You don’t have to clean it very often, so it truly makes life easier without the hassle of a regular mirror.

Disclosure: This is not a sponsored post. I did receive items to review in exchange for an honest review. This however didn’t influence these comments.
I want to thank the Shavewell company for working with me and sponsoring this on my blog.

      TidyTots Review & Giveaway

      Potty Training Products
Adisyn is fully potty trained now, she has been for quite some time now. But she also still uses a potty chair. She still has her winnie the pooh potty because she still isn’t confident using the big potty while doing her business. She thinks she is going to fall in, so we’ll keep the potty until she’s ready for the switch.
Tidytots is the best way to keep potty trainers as well as older toddlers from having messes. Adisyn likes to dump “her” potty into the “big” potty, so we’ve had quite a bit of spilled messes here. I didn’t want to discourage her to try it on her own, so I let her do it herself. Now I can help her pull the strings on the bag, and let her put the bag in the trash. So much easier, and not so many messes.
With these potty chair liners, you don’t have to use one every time they go to the bathroom. The liners come with super absorbent pads that gel up when wet. These pads can hold enough liquid for 2-3 uses, and you get 16 pads and liners in a box for $8.99. So your getting 48 uses per carton.
The reason I think these liners are such a good idea, is because now you can have a to-go potty. Just put your kid’s potty chair in the car, and bring the liners and pads. I go to a lot of yard sales in the spring and summer and it seems every time they had to go to the bathroom as soon as we were too far away from a store. Now I don’t have to worry about messes in the car and I don’t have to worry about trying to find the nearest bathroom.
Finally, a mess free solution to potty training.  Fits all potty chairs.  Place a Tidy Tots liner in the potty chair bowl.  Then place a super-absorbent pad in the liner.  When soiled, remove, close and throw away.  Each carton contains 16 super absorbent pads and 16 liners.  The super-absorbent pad will hold 2-3 urinations.  Up to 48 uses per carton!  Only $8.99!
      You can find TidyTots here
Tidy Tots is also available on...
amazon.com - combine your Tidy Tots order with other purchases and get Super Saver free shipping on orders over $25.
Disclosure: This isn’t a sponsored post, all opinions are my own. I was given items in exchange for an honest review.
I want to thank TidyTots for working with me and sponsoring this on my blog.
Thanks for taking time to read this,
      Jessica
