As a crafter, I am very interested in finding small glass jars or jars of any size to keep crafting materials in. Sunburst Bottles have bottles and jars of many shapes and sizes.

I am working towards building up my crafting inventory. I am always looking for something to store these materials in as well. I think drawers full of crafting materials isn’t great presentation as a crafter.

I love candles. Having a night at home with Adam, watching Television by candlelight or just sitting and talking.. It IS so relaxing. Especially since we don’t get very much time together because we have 2 kids under 5.

AND all three turn on and off with the remote.

They also have colored hurricane candles. They look like they have been molded in a hurricane candle holder, but you don’t have to worry about them burning down to nothing. They will always look the same beautifully molded candles. These candles are also scented! Both types of these candles smell like vanilla.

I really like the look of these distressed candles. They look amazing and also come scented. The Distressed pumpkin colored candle smells like spiced pumpkin. The burgundy distressed colored candle smells like pomegranate.

They also have candles for seasonal decorating, your outside light needs, and everything in between.

Pants shopping for kids can be extremely challenging. If you're kids are like mine- either their waistband fits or their pants length fit, and not BOTH! Aidan is more like this than Adisyn is. He is thin and long-legged. If I get pants that fit his waist, his pants are too long on the length part.

To apply:

• Cuff pant leg up to 2 inches in height with vertical pant seam aligned (Single or double fold cuffs as needed.)

• Side fastener on cuff. Center it over the vertical pant seams.

• View ring-like part inside pant leg. Make sure vertical seam passes between the two little tabs.

• Use fingers to support ring-like part inside pant leg. Use thumb to press design through ring-like part and feel a snap.

If your like me, you have longer jeans that you wear with boots. You may want to wear these with a flat shoe like a clog, dress shoe, or tennis shoe. If your jeans are long, you know how they can get eaten up when they go under your shoe and get eaten by the concrete. This has happened to me many times. The jeans get worn out and they look older than they are.

I hate this. I always ALWAYS fold my jeans hem in or out now. When I was younger- I never did. Now that I'm older and have kids of my own, I can't afford to go out and buy new pants all the time. So, being practical and trying to cut corners and save money- this will go a long way.

Dads can get the use out of these as well. Longer jeans get soaked when they do their outside activities such as golfing or playing baseball on a dewy field. Now they can cuff their pants and not have to worry about hiking them up to keep them from getting dirty, muddy, and letting them fit so much better.

I chose to get the construction truck My Hikes for Aidan. He has the longer legs and will be starting Kindergarten this year. He has tons of pants that are longer than his legs, and I think that these will make help keep his school clothes last longer so that we have more money for field trips, lunch money, and snack money. Saving money on clothes, the more you have to spend on other things.

You can clean My Hikes with soap and water. Or you can soak them in water and wash them with a soft bristle brush. You do need to remove the My Hikes before machine washing or drying.

They aren’t hard to get on OR off. They are adorable, and can be reversed to the clear side for moms, older kids, or dads! Keep everyone in the family from ruining their pants.

Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel Review

This is my second time working with Murad, and they NEVER disappoint. Their products are top quality and ALWAYS do what they say.  The Intensive-C Radiance Peel ($49.50) is an amazing product. It doesn’t really harden and PEEL off of your skin. It’s more like a Radiance mask, that stays moisturized until you wash it off.

• A convenient one-step, at-home peel which is part of Murad’s Environmental Shield® Line, created to help restore and renew sun and environmentally damaged skin, while protecting it from future damage.

To use: Massage evenly over clean face, neck and chest. You may experience a light tingly sensation. Leave on for up to 10 minutes. Rinse with warm wash cloth and pat dry. Use 1 to 2 times weekly and follow with a Murad step 3 moisturizer.

My Thoughts*

I decided to use this right before bedtime. So I used this with my regular cleanser, rinsed with warm water, and PATTED my face dry with a towel. You don’t want to SCRUB your face or use an exfoliator BEFORE using this. This can cause irritation and can cause your face to redden. Just use your natural cleanser first, and then apply this (wait for 10 minutes), rinse, and pat dry again.

This is the perfect “mask” if you ask me. As soon as you put it on, you can definitely tell that it has started working. It has a tingling sensation that lets you know that it is getting deep down into your skin to make it more beautiful.

This peel works after just one use (for me). I could definitely tell that hyperpigmentation (spotting) of my skin had definitely been reduced. This also restored clarity to my skin, so that you I didn’t experience any breakouts or  show any blackheads.

Skin immediately looked more youthful and extremely brighter. The ingredients in it smooth and perfect the skin to reveal my skin’s true beauty. My skin was glowing more radiantly after one use. Vitamin C and Indian fig protect skin from UV damage and free radicals, while helping the skin stay clear.

Glycolic Acid exfoliates the skin to accelerate the turnover of darkened, damaged cells. The damaged cells will then be gone and your skin’s dullness will be brightened and your overall skin texture will be better.

Myrtle extract helps to boost the elasticity in your skin as well as collagen to give your skin that youthful firmness and glow that you’ve been missing out on. As you get older your collagen and elasticity drop about 1% a year- starting at age 35. If you could save and store what collagen you have NOW, you might not have to fight such harsh wrinkles as you age.

The best thing about this peel is that no matter what skin you have (oily, dry, or combination) you can use this. This is also built for all skin colors, so whether your White, Asian, African American, or in-between.. this will help those dark spots, acne, and other problems you have.

The less you have to use, the longer it lasts. So a dime size drop once or twice a week, and you will probably end up having this bottle for more than 3 months.

Think about that. You could pass up on other acne treatments, masks, and collagen serums and replace it with this. Just ONE bottle of something that will help your skin possibly more than anything you currently have on your bathroom shelves at home.

I love that it does so many things in just 10 minutes and that I didn’t have to wait 2 months for some actual changes! It smells great and isn’t sticky or hard to get off. It doesn’t burn (just tingles) and leaves my skin SO soft and supple.

I am very impressed with this peel, and I will definitely add this to my skincare regimen. It has helped with breakouts, blackheads, dead and damaged cells, darkened skin, collagen and elasticity… What more could a woman ask for in a peel?

SkinActives Skin Care Review

Salicylic Wash

You use this once or twice daily to cleanse skin.

As you may know, most acne cleansers have Salicylic in them. The reason most Acne medicines contain Salicylic is because it has such a great ability to penetrate the pores to get the deep down dirt and grime. It works at reducing the amount of oil in the pores so you don’t get as much acne also.

Begin with warm water. Dipping a washcloth into almost hot water and then rubbing it on your face in a circular motion to activate and open your pores.

Salicylic Acid is also great for other skin problems, such as psoriasis. It can help to loosen and break up the clumped up skin. Then gently massage the cleanser into your facial skin (avoid your eyes, nose, and mouth areas). Rinse your face with warm water, and then pat dry with a towel.

It may take several applications (depending on how much you use it) to first show results. It needs to have time to get the deepest down dirt and then begin protecting your skin from other dirt trying to enter. It reduces the number of blockages of pores and breakouts.

Salicylic acids come in pads, lotions, gels, and regular cleansers. If you are using this wash, do NOT use another form of salicylic acid, because it can dry out your skin if used too much.

If you have acne or blackheads on other parts of your body, this cleanser is very safe to use on your body as well. Do not put this on your entire body, just put it on the affected area, and then rinse with warm water.

You must continue using this wash if you want your pores to stay unclogged and breakouts gone. When you stop using it, the dirt will find it’s way back in and you’ll have breakouts again. So use this as needed, and continue to use at least every other day if not everyday.

I really liked this wash. It isn’t expensive, and it works just as well as the expensive ones. For Skinactives price, you could purchase something else and have even smoother, more beautiful skin. Who could pass that up?

Salicylic acid can cause dryness, irritation, and burning. This shouldn’t occur if you are using an oil-free moisturizer after you use the salicylic acid. Also make sure you aren’t using it too much. One time a day should be all that you need.

I really like this. In this summer, because of the heat and sweating constantly, I end up with acne on my face and shoulders. This has really helped to reduce and eliminate those pesky bumps.

It doesn’t smell and can be used morning or night. I use it at night to make sure my pores stay as clean as possible.

Vitamin A Cream

Use on clean, dry skin before bed to nourish the skin and help fight wrinkles.

This cream is amazing, it is really evening out my skin tone. Not only does it even out skin tones in your face, but this is amazing as an all over body cream. As I’d said a couple of times before, I have Keratosis Pilaris- nicknamed chicken skin for a reason.

I have had Keratosis Pilaris since I was twelve, and until last year- I didn’t even know what it was or what would help to rid of it. For a very long time, I thought I might have been allergic to laundry detergent. I was amazed that 50% of Americans have this and have no idea what it is or what can sure it.

I was reading the DermaDoctor manual, and it showed that this can be cured by Retinol A cream. When I went to the doctor the Retinol A Cream was $80 to pick it up. I can’t afford that, so obviously I started checking into stuff that I could afford and would actually work.

Use once or twice daily on clean skin around the eyes and on the eyelids to reduce puffiness and dark circles.

After only 10 days, I could tell a huge difference under my eyes. This is great for dark circles AND bags. I don’t suggest that you use this during the day because if you wear makeup over it, the makeup will curl into little balls. So use this as a nighttime regimen and you’ll love it.

Not only has my dark circles diminished after just a short amount of time, when I wake up my eyes has less puffiness. I have used this by itself for about a week and a half, and then started adding a body oil to it, and it worked even more fabulous.

My under eye skin was super soft and the darkness definitely did fade. It doesn’t smell bad, and it isn’t greasy at all. I’ve noticed some eye products were greasy and hard to get off in the morning. Not this one, it came off after one wash. I really like it.

This book takes an entirely new approach to HTML and CSS. There are different types of people who would like to learn how to design with HTML and CSS without having to learn everything there is about programming.

Most HTML and CSS books are hard to understand for normal people like you and I. They are dry and impersonal, so it is harder to learn. This book has full color on every single page, so not only does it make it more interesting, it also makes it easier for visual learners to comprehend.

This educational book is one that you will enjoy picking up, reading, then referring back to. It will make you wish other technical topics were presented in such a simple, attractive and engaging way!

This book breaks down every aspect of HTML and CSS, and puts it into easy to understand chapters. On every single page of the chapter, it has different aspects of HTML or CSS, on the adjoining page, it shows how the HTML or CSS would look if you make it live.

This makes it so much easier for me to understand, because I can see the HTML on one side, and what it will look like on my website or blog on the other side.

This book is so beautifully constructed. The text is large, so it’s easier to read when your sitting it beside your computer and writing the HTML. It’s easy to thumb through when you’re in a hurry because of it being broken down into chapters.

When you AREN’T in a hurry, you can sit down and read this book. I have already given this book it’s own binder and sat down and wrote notes for every single page.

I am not new to HTML and CSS. I have had my blog for over 3 years, and I love to re-work it in any way that I can. Now that I am interested in designing blogs and websites for others, this book has become something of a golden ticket for me.

I have read more than a dozen books on learning HTML and CSS. Some of them did teach me what I needed to know, but some of them were duds all together. When a book is written in a textbook type format, people usually don’t want to read it. They think that it will be too hard to start and finish from a book like that.

I am a learner at heart. I am always trying to learn something new and exciting. Whether it be history, science, crafts, writing help, or designing websites. So I have read the textbook type formatted books as well as the simpler versions.

This book is WAY better at showing and explaining all the different elements and styling that come with HTML and CSS. It even explains older types of HTML and CSS just in case you run upon it, you’ll know what to do.

The best thing about this book is the way it’s structured. Every page is built for visual learners. The pages are colored, which make it stand out. It has the HTML version of the website and the what you would see if you saved the HTML and viewed the webpage.

I think that this book is going to be HUGE. When people look at how simple designing and coding actually are, all of us will have a run for our money. =)

Other books can’t even TRY to compare to this one. I am absolutely in LOVE with this book. I will always keep it as a HTML/CSS encyclopedia, because that is what it is.

I have never had the advantage to read ANY book or any article online about HTML and CSS that could have taught me as much as this book has in the last month since I have had it.

I praise the author for letting us newbies and bloggers learn what he has known for most of his life. He has been designing and building websites longer than I’ve had access to the internet.

If you are interested in learning HTML and CSS- for blog design, website design, or just as a hobby- I TOTALLY recommend this book.

AR-15 Vertical Fashion Shirt Review

This shirt is amazing. Who wouldn’t want to wear a shirt with a gun on it? What could say “I kick ass” more than this? I think nothing!
This shirt just feels so empowering to wear. I have never shot an Assault Rifle before, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t like to. I used to go hunting and practice shooting with my dad and uncles.
I never SHOT anything, but it still felt great to be invited, like I was one of the guys. There’s nothing like being with the guys on a hunting trip. It’s great to spend so much time with people you love while they teach you something new about life.
This shirt is really comfortable and goes with a pair of jeans like nothing else. =) I have washed this 3 or 4 times already and the shirt color has not faded at all and the AR15 hasn’t stuck together or peeled off.
I was and am still psyched that I was chosen to do a review for this shirt. I love it..
