Isn’t this little guy just so adorable? My daughter thinks so. Every since we have met “Beary”, she has become SO attached to him. She tags him along with her wherever we go. Wherever you see Adisyn, you see “Beary”.

She makes me tuck him into bed with her at night, sits him beside her when she eats, and buckles him into the car when we go somewhere. It is SO cute how much she loves him.

This has been an amazing conversation starter about the world, because Adisyn is naturally curious anyway. She wanted to know what the green things were- and I was able to explain to her that they were countries. She is only 3, so she didn’t grasp the WHOLE thought out plan of what continents were- but we are definitely working on it.

She did understand that where WE live isn’t the only places on Earth. This really got the ball rolling about different kinds of people. We talked about how different people on other continents ate other things then what we eat, and how children are different as well.

The Globe bear contains recycled material- so not only are you getting the chance to teach your kids about the excitement of the world- you ARE actually helping the world! Cool, huh?

The Cure 24/7 Split End Mender Review

This Split end mender is a leave-in treatment conditioner. It helps to re-strengthen the hair follicles and fibers so that your hair is silky smooth and takes back the health it once knew.

I’ve been using this split end mender for more than 3 weeks now, and am very pleased with the results of my hair health. The best thing about this is that you can apply to wet OR dry hair.

I have been doing both. I will shampoo and condition my hair, let it dry a little, and then put this in my hair. It has a pump action bottle, so you don’t get too much and waste it.

I only needed about a quarter size to get my medium thick long hair covered. You rub this on your roots and work your way down to the ends (starting in 3 sections). Section off your hair in left, right, and back sections- that way you know your getting ALL of the roots and every hair strand without leaving any out. Then comb through to distribute it evenly.

You can apply other styling products on top of this and it will still work without any problems at all. Whether it’s mousse, hair gel, or hairspray- this is the protectant underneath, revitalizing and replenishing your locks!

This is a clear, whitish liquid that goes a long way and smells amazing. Below are two pictures. One of the liquid in my hand and then another of the ends of my hair. So that you can see that all the split ends have regrouped into healthy strands of hair.

Strengthening hair has never been more convenient. I can throw this in my purse and take with me wherever I go. I can use this during the day not only to treat my hair, but to also reduce the frizz. It IS a smoother and I could tell within minutes that my hair was easier to manage and wasn’t as “brittle”.

This product is SO amazing that it was featured in Allure Magazine as a way to help treat damaged and dry hair.! This has been tried and recommended by MANY people, myself included.

This basically conditions and holds split ends together so they aren’t visible at all. Get Ready for the Fall Time: Be Organized and Stay in Good Health!

Since the fall time is definitely on its way it’s time to get practical and prepare for the shorter days that come with the fall and winter time! Not only is it vital to drink a lot of fluids and protect your body from those fall time germs, but it’s also important to make the switch from summer wear to fall time gear. Plus whether you live in a milder climate or a cold climate during the fall and winter, it’s still a good idea to prepare for fall time via a number of ways.

Store Away Summer Clothing and Outdoor Accessories

When the weather starts getting cooler, this means switching up everything in your closet. Pack away your summer clothing and pull out the sweaters, long sleeve shirts, and jeans that will carry you through the fall and winter time. You’ll definitely want to stay warm when it starts getting colder outside!

Another part of getting ready for cooler weather is getting your yard ready for the transition. Put away the outdoor toys and inflatable pools and prepare your yard for colder temps and possible ice and snow on the ground. Leonor Greyl- Huile De Palme Review

 

I have been using this amazing product for well over a month and a half now. This is so many different things in one. You add this to your hair before you shampoo it. You leave it on for as long as you want to, and then rinse it out- and shampoo and condition as normal.

This is for normal hair, dry hair, or damaged hair due to straightening, blow-drying, bleaching, coloring, or perming. While sun de-hydrates the Kertain in the hair, water moisturizes it. The sun makes the hairs ends split (thus split ends), dries it out and is extremely damaging to it.

The best thing about this is that it is waterproof- of water under 77* F- so you could put this in you hair before heading to the beach or the pool and your hair will be protected from the harsh chemicals in the pool water, and the salt in the sea/ocean water.

This is a very silky oil, colored slightly a yellow color. Because it is an oil, it rubs in quite nicely without having to use TONS in your hair. If you do have long hair like I do, you still don’t have to use very much. It smells like a herbal mixture, which is invigorating and refreshing to the senses.

Since I have been using this, my hair has become much softer than it was. My hair was experiencing damage due to blow-drying and straightening everyday. I can tell that this has made the health of my hair dramatically better. It seems that with each use, my hair becomes much stronger.

If you add this to your beauty regimen at least a couple times a week, your hair will thank you. Those once dried out locks become shiny, more vibrant, and absolutely beautifully moisturized.

I can tell that this has been almost “insulating” my hair from the sun, while locking in moisture. Now when I swim in the pool, I don’t have to worry about the chlorine and various other chemicals harming my hair. I can put this in my hair before a dip and it doesn’t come out in the pool. It remains safely in my hair without seeing it flowing oily through the pool water.

My hair is now naturally healthy, with a luxurious shine that I can’t resist. This has been a lifeline to my dried out damaged hair. It has revitalized my strands to make them luminous and fabulous.!!

This can also be put on the scalp during pre-shampoo treatment to give your scalp some moisture as well. I have dry scalp that becomes itchy and bothersome. Since I have been using the Huile De Palme, my scalp has forgotten the itchiness that was once there.

Avitalin Gentle Micropeel
This is an amazing at home peel to help remove dead skin cells even for those with sensitive skin. I have rarely seen a skin peel that sensitive skin types can tolerate. It usually blotches up their face.
So- I took this over to my moms house and she and I had a little spa time rendezvous while having a little mother/daughter time. She and I both was eager to try this micropeel.
My mom has sensitive skin and her face stays dry almost all the time. She wanted to give this a go and so did I. I wanted to see if it really stood up to the promise of sensitive skin. Since I have non-sensitive oily skin- I had to have another tester =)
What you do is drop a few drops onto fingertips and apply to face and neck. She and I did this and waited for the full three minutes that is said on the directions. I almost immediately felt a tingle- which is a good thing when your dealing with a peel.
We rinsed with warm water and patted our faces dry. I begin to inspect her skin to see if there were any blotches of red skin—AND…………
NOPE- there was NOT any red spot(s) to be found. AND her dry skin seemed so refreshed. I know my face felt amazing after using it, and she said she thought so too.
If you have oily skin like I do- you can use this up to 3 times a week because our skin cells produce faster then dry skin cells do. If you have dry skin- you should only use this once a week and without any other exfoliator.

It comes in a pump action bottle so that it is extremely easy just to get the right amount that is needed to get your face and neck. This makes sure that you aren’t overdoing it and wasting product. The peel is a thin liquidy white/clear color, and it doesn’t really have a smell.

Caution: Do not use if you are pregnant, have extremely sensitive skin, or are currently using prescription skin-care products.

Klorane specifically selected Mango butter because of it’s nourishing properties. It also has the essential fatty acids that hair needs to restore to a healthy, vibrant look.

I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for awhile now, and I am seriously in love with these items. Even the shampoo has a creamy, silky texture that just seeps into the hair and leaves it feeling ABSOLUTELY amazing.

I blow-dry and straighten my hair every single day. It has really made an impact on my hair. My hair was beginning to feel dried out and dehydrated. The ends were looking rough and were starting to itch my back when I wore it down.

You can leave the shampoo AND conditioner on for 2-3 minutes instead of washing it out right after putting it on, so that your hair gets time to soak up even more of the treatment!

This shampoo and conditioner line from Klorane is BRILLIANT. Not only has my hair begun feel the silky smooth that it used to before the damage, but it also has reduced the frizz after I blow-dry it, so I don’t have to straighten it. This will eventually lead to less damage over time because I am not straightening it every single day.

I don’t even really need to conditioner, just the shampoo is WAY more nourishing then most commercial brands. But when using both the shampoo and conditioner, I’m pretty sure my hair thinks that it has gone to heaven. It soaks up the nutrients and fatty acids as if it were completely dead.

I had never used mango in a hair care line before, and let me tell you- I am SO glad I have. I So feel like I’ve been at the spa because this smells absolutely delicious and my hair looks amazing.

The conditioner locks in moisture so that your hair stays hydrated all DAY long. I couldn’t help but keep running my hands through my hair because it felt SOOO awesome. My hair has become more healthy, more manageable, shinier, and WITH NO knots what-so-ever.

If your hair is dry or damaged, I would HIGHLY recommend these products to you. As soon as you drop some of either into your palm, you can automatically tell WHY it works so well on the hair because it feels like pure silk. They are creamy and ORANGE.. ♥

The bottles are quite big, so just one bottle of the shampoo and conditioner will leave you with at least 2 months of use (even if you use it every day). The conditioner might run a little shorter than 2 months but if you do- You can just use the shampoo and not even worry about the conditioner.

I would rate both of these products a 10/10 on my hair care list. These are absolute must haves for those locks just begging for moisture. SO- what are you waiting for?

Superfood Review: Raw Organic Chocolate

These Certified Organic energy nuggets are made with raw ingredients that will help you to stay energized without the artificial additives. They are little balls of raw chocolate mixed with other ingredients. They come in 4 flavors; Chocolate Goji Treats, Green Chocolate Dream, Brazilian Chocolate Ecstasy, and Chocolate Cherry Qi.

I was excited to try these, because I absolutely LOVE chocolate. I also loved that they were supposed to give natural energy. The packages were very colorful and looked like coffee bags.

I opened them up one by one and took a smell test- they ALL did smell like raw chocolate. It also smelled sort of like raw coffee grounds or something.

I picked them up and they felt like a mushy cookie dough ball with a grainy texture. I took a bite and immediately spit it out. I didn’t like it at all. I thought maybe it was because I had never eaten raw chocolate or gluten free anything.

The taste was horrible. I felt like I was eating coffee crumbles, and the texture was horribly grainy. I had a horrible taste in my mouth after eating it. I ended up having one of my friends try this- she is more into the whole-food gluten free stuff, and she said the same thing- it’s too grainy and has a nasty aftertaste.

I will NOT be eating this again in the future. I don’t think I would eat it unless that’s the only thing I HAD to eat on a desert island or stranded somewhere, which I probably wouldn’t have them with me anyway.

Daddy & Son Sharing Traditions

When I was a little girl, I’m pretty sure I only owned matchbox cars, footballs, baseballs, and army men. I could be found outside digging in the dirt, making roads for my cars to drive on.

That’s right- I was a tomboy! Even when I got older- I would rather ride 4 wheelers or go horseback riding then hang out at the mall after school. I have always liked watching baseball as well as playing it.

When I was in 5th or 6th grades, the boys on the team (just during recess) doubted my abilities because I was petite. Boy did I sure show THEM! They were amazed at how well I could catch and how fast I could run! I was like the wind!

When I got into middle school and high school, I loved going to games and watching. It’s the excitement, the fun, the “team” aspect of it. It just excites me. Did I mention that I was half crazy during these games?

I definitely did! You could see me in the stands, all decked out in my baseball apparel- shirt the color of the team, face paintings, and all. Then when I was a junior- I met Adam.

He and I started going to games together when we could. He introduced me to fitted hats, which I am now addicted to. Adam hates wearing a hat that isn’t fitted- it hurts his head.

I didn’t like wearing non-fitted hats because my head is small and I’d have to practically hold them on to keep them from completely falling off. Every time he and I go hat shopping- you’ll see him head straight for the fitted section.

If he gets a non-fitted hat for Christmas- he will NOT wear it. Now that we have a son, he has passed this on to Aidan. Aidan LOVES hats. He will put them on and pretend to be “Daddy”. He will walk into the room and say “I’m not Aidan, I’m daddy”. It cracks me up.

I really like the fitted hats because now Aidan can share hats with Adam. It makes him feel Oh-so-special and puts a smile on my face…

Review: Geeks Mobile USA

Geeks Mobile USA provided me with a free “computer clean up” or PC optimization, in exchange for a review of the clean-up. Computer help has such an amazing clean up service because they offer 24/7 United States based tech support and services.


I don’t know how many times I’ve been blogging late at night and had issues with my computer. I’d have to wait until morning to be able to contact someone, and I’d be out of getting anything done ALL night. Not only was it frustrating, but it put me SO far behind that it was almost too much to catch up on.

For me, as a freelance writer and blogger- I use my computer daily- more hours then not, and when I can’t access anything- I get very irritated. I have deadlines that I have to meet, and when I can’t meet them, I may miss out on money that I desperately need to raise my family.

Mostly- they would either want me to bring it up to have it worked on, and I’d have to leave it for a week or so. OR they wanted me to mail it to them which would probably take a month or more. NO- that wasn’t and isn’t an option for me.

I had to take my computer and leave it at the store- get a loaner- and be without all my pictures, files, and information for more than a month! Every since THAT experience, I decided a remote technical support that is available 24/7 is definitely WAY better.

Not only can you reach them on their website, but you can call them while in the middle of the computer messing up, tell them what problems your having, and they will help you figure out what is going wrong.
My computer has been very slow and not letting me download any updates at all, no matter what it is- even if it was just Adobe Reader updates. Once in connection with Computer Help, I didn’t have anything else further to do.

They just wanted me to keep the computer plugged in while they worked on it from their site, so they had constant access to it. It was awesome yo be able to look at the computer screen and seeing them work, being able to tell what they were deleting, and seeing the mouse moving up and down.The procedure took about an hour, but it was absolutely worth it; without a DOUBT!

They call you and let you know when the job is finished and the updates on what was wrong with the computer in the first place.

Here is what they got off of my computer:
9 needed updates to critical programs
7 programs that needed to be uninstalled because they were slowing down the computer.
There were also tons of temporary internet files that were slowing it down that were removed.
And they had to speed it up, there were programs starting up when I turned on my computer that didn't really need to start up.

Now I can just click on them when I need them, instead of them starting up automatically.

After they were done, I started up my computer and could instantly tell that my computer was back to new. The speed of the computer was 100x better. There was absolutely NO waiting for programs to load. Everything is operating quickly, more efficient, and with ease.

No more problematic pop-ups that drive me insane. There were tons of pop-ups telling me that my computer wasn't up to speed. Now it hasn't popped up since they did their magic.
