What mom, aunt, or grandmother doesn’t want to know about adorable kid’s items that are affordable, chic, and functional as well? On this website you can choose to view items within a certain price range, how awesome is that?
Most of these adorable items can be personalized with your child’s name on it. This means a lot to me, because where I chose to spell Adisyn differently, it is hard to find items that are personally for her. Never any bike tags, sippy cup holders, or bags for Adisyn unless I pay the company plenty extra to put it on there.
I chose the V’Room Bigger Bagz for Aidan and the Poppies Bigger Bagz for Adisyn.

I was amazed at how the quality was on these. They are VERY nice. My kids LOVED them. As soon as they came in the mail, they were all over them. Searching through the toy box looking for something to put inside them.
Aidan of course, chose a bunch of matchbox cars- that he immediately took outside to play outside in the dirt with. He lines them up and then puts them in demolition derbies. =) That’s my Aidan for ya.
Adisyn chose random items for hers. She put in these tiny little Care Bears that I bought for her last year. Then she put in some little toys and dolls. She loved the clip on it!

The Bigger Bagz is machine washable. My kids are terror on their clothes and toys, so I almost jumped up and down when I learned that I could just throw it in the wash and be done with it.
They have a clip-on keyring attached to the side, so that they can be clipped onto backpacks or whatever. They also have 14 designs in these bags, so no matter what your children likes, they have a design that they’ll go crazy for.
Not only can these amazingly beautiful kids bags be for a child, they can also be for mom as well. If you have a baby, these bigger bagz are just the right size to carry diapers and a small wipes case. If your child grows out of it, it could be the right size for makeup and perfume.
They can be used for much more than that- carry electronics, toys, games, snacks, pacifiers, cards.. whatever you want. They can and will hold anything you stick inside them!

I began ironing designs onto foam "Huggerz" (which was not pretty), but the ones which promoted factories and bars were soon replaced by trains and cars. After mixing a little bit of luck and a lot of prayer, kidzies™ were born and I am ecstatic to share a high-quality, professional, long-lasting product with you and your family.
His hands are warm, his drink is cool, there are fewer rings on my furniture, fewer spills & sweating cups on his good clothes, and I'm less concerned about his apple juice not going into the fridge between sips. Jett loves the Kidzies™ designs (he rigorously approves each final drawing) and I love everything else about it - the well-being and the cleanliness. As a mother of 2 small children, I needed a change in laundry detergent. The “commercial” products are filled with harmful chemicals that can seep into your skin through your clothing. So, I took www.naturallysavvy.com's offer to review Ecover Sunny Day Laundry Detergent
This laundry detergent is amazing! Most commercial brands claim to wash Large loads of laundry as well as MANY MANY loads. They come with HUGE cups attached to the tops, so we aren’t actually using it the way it’s stated. They WANT you to use more, so you have to buy MORE. Not with Ecover. They have a tiny little lid that keeps you from overusing.
I was hesitant that such a small bit of this liquid will clean my kids messy clothes. They are always playing in dirt or spilling food on themselves. When I pulled the very first load out, I took a look at them AND was surprised. It cleaned them BETTER than a commercial brand would. WITHOUT all the harmful chemicals. AMAZING! Right?
The laundry detergent bottle that I reviewed was a 51 ounce bottle. The liquid is 2.5x concentrated, so I am using less than commercial products and saving my children and myself from being harmed. I love this. The bottle is also made from 100% plantplastic. So- the bottle is also able for recycling. GREAT company!!
This bottle is easy to store, easy to hold, easy to open, and holds the right amount for about a month (OR MORE) of clothes washing. I WASHED loads and loads of laundry and still have some of this left. I am truly amazed.
Also- I love that my clothes come out of the wash smelling absolutely incredible. AND they aren’t even using chemically induced fragrances to get this smell. It DOES smell like a warm sunny day.
This keeps my colored clothes bright- no fading, no stains still on clothes. The ingredients are mineral and plant based, which no mom could ever pass up for the health of their children as well as our state of mind.
It MAY seem expensive when buying this- I am a deal buyer. I try and try to buy things that I have a coupon for or that is on sale. This laundry liquid can be bought on Amazon.com 9.80 a bottle. BUT this small bottle washes 50+ loads of laundry. When you divide it up- it is basically only $.19 per load.
This Ecover laundry detergent did work just as well or even better than Tide did. It’s septic tank safe, so I don’t have to worry about chemicals inside the tank. It’s better overall for my children health as well as Adam and I. I was very impressed with this.

The Ergonomic Pen: UGLeePen Review & Giveaway

I was sent a 3 pack of UGLee Pens to try out. This pen is unlike any other pen on the market. This pen was designed by a physician for comfort and precision. Doctors know FAR too well how writing too much will cramp up the hands. Dr. Lee created this pen to mold to the fingers, to prevent those cramps.
UGLee isn’t what you think. The name UGLee is created from UG means Ultimate Grip, and Lee is of course, from Dr. Lee the creator. ;)  The pen definitely LOOKS different than any other pen. Definitely an Ergonomic Pen
As a writer, OF COURSE I write all the time. I have tried many MANY pens on the market. All of them claiming to be comfort pens. Many of them claiming that there isn’t any breaks in the ink. Most pens never held up to their claims.

The gripper on this pen feels quite a lot like fishing lure rubber. The rubber doesn’t smell weird or anything, it’s just thin and moldy like a fishy lure. It molds in between my finger really well. No other gripper grasps quite like this one.
As much as the design looks cool and unique- it needs to write without bubbles, skips, or scratching in the ink. I hate when I’m writing something and the pen just won’t put out ink. It’s frustrating. This pen does skip SOME (but rarely), and not as much as regular pens do. I was happy with the way it wrote.

The pen is just about flawless! I couldn’t even begin to say enough great things about this pen. How it stands up VERY well to it’s claims, unlike the “others”.  I love how smoothly this flows over the paper, because of it’s medium point ball. I hate writing with fine tip pens, they scratch the paper and my handwriting ALWAYS looks messy when I write with a fine point pen.
My handwriting looks amazing with the UGLee pen. I love how firmly or loosely I can hold the pen. It adjusts to your grip. No matter which way you hold a pen when you write, or which hand you write with- This pen will never let you down.
This pen actually makes writing on paper feel like your writing on something softer. You don’t have to push down extremely hard to get it to write, and it fits so comfortably in my hand.
As a writer, I LOVE this pen. If I had 1 pen to use the rest of my life- it would definitely be this one. Although I wish it were cheaper $30 for 3 pens.. I guess I could live with that, because you can always buy replacement ink sticks for inside the pen at really reasonable prices.
Besides being a great pen for writers- this pen also helps benefit people who have arthritis and carpal tunnel. Did I also mention KIDS? Kids who are just learning to write could benefit greatly from this pen. They have a hard time learning how to hold the pen.. this pen practically holds itself to THEM. It’s lightweight and they will never have to struggle with getting the ink to come out..!

MY THOUGHTS*

I am in love with this cleanser. I wake up every morning and put this on my face. Not only does it wake ME up, it wakes up my skin as well as my senses. Chella is the bomb when it comes to skin care. I have worked with them before, and they never disappoint. Every thing I’ve ever tried- I’ve loved and will definitely re-buy!

The packaging is VERY classy. The jar has a silver-lidded top, and the jar is clear glass. The glass lets you see through to the orange cleanser. You open the top on this cleanser and it’s immediate bliss. It smells like Orange Sorbet Ice Cream with a hint of mango :P YUM

You apply this to a dry face. It feels a little greasy, but it ISN’T. It’s the olive oil in the cleanser, which IS amazing at cleaning faces. I’ve never really used a face cleanser with olive oil in it, but it WORKS amazingly and FEELS amazing as well.

You put this on your dry skin.. I then take my fingernails and massage the cleanser in, especially on my nose pores and beneath my lips (my oiliest parts). Then I take warm water and work into the cleanser, it then lathers up. I massage it in EVEN MORE, and then rinse it off.

I have been using this almost a month now, and I can definitely tell that this has put out DEFINITE results. My face is extremely clean, my pores (which have always been large) shrunk and the dirt trapped inside disappeared. I have tried so many different products to help with my large pores and blackheads, yet only certain things worked and not for long.

This has put a HUGE difference in my skin care regimen! I am in love with this cleanser. I’m not sure how I lived without it. Now I can go without makeup and not have to stare at my large nose pores! I am ecstatic.

MY THOUGHTS*

My skin needs renewed  and calmed down from time to time. This is very rejuvenating and refreshing. It is a thick and creamy white mask that smells amazing.

This mask is extremely exfoliating to the skin because of the Enzymes and Alpha-Hydroxy Acids it contains. This is used weekly and also can be used daily on zits and blemishes. This “peel” works to exfoliate the dead skin that naturally builds up. This dissolves the dead skin and makes skin refreshed and glowing.

This is also great for blackheads and breakouts. It works to eliminate the blackheads and breakouts at the source. Most peels are harmful to the skin causing it to become irritated and red. This helps to eliminate irritation with ingredients; licorice, ginger, and butcher’s broom.

It feels soft and silky on my face. There’s no burning, redness, and absolutely no irritation. It feels like using a regular cleanser, you just leave it on for 15 minutes instead of washing it off right away.

This has all natural exfoliators in it though, so it doesn’t irritate the skin and break you out even more (especially sensitive skin). This contains sugar cane (AHAs), malic Acid (from apples), and sour milk which makes lactic acid. All these products are gentle on the skin but help create a smooth beautiful complexion.

Wedding Decorations on the Cheap!

A Wedding is in my future, whether how near or far- I’m not exactly sure. I have been with Adam for almost 8 years, and we have 2 gorgeous kids together, but a wedding has been put off.

I am also thinking of Round tables, that way if more people come than have seating for, they could just pull up extra chairs. They have huge choices in Round Table Cloths. They have a huge range- from 72” to 132” round table cloths! They offer MANY different colors. This way, I could coordinate the colors with the wedding. How awesome is that?

Pureology Essential Repair Shampoo & Conditioner Review

ESSENTIAL REPAIR- THE SHAMPOO

This shampoo is amazing. It is very strengthening and replenishing to weak and damaged hair. It contains Soy derived proteins to help with split ends, The frizzies, and damaged hair.

Although my hair isn’t broken, it is damaged. I blow-dry and flat iron almost daily and curl about once a week. I am getting split ends, so I needed something that would help me with this. I could just get the split ends cut off, but I wanted to put some repairing products to the test!

I love that this shampoo adds moisture without weighing down my hair. This is amazing for dyed or permed hair. It is a sulfate free shampoo, so it doesn’t bubble up like normal shampoo’s do (which is a good thing). The more a shampoo bubbles up, the more natural vitamins and moistures it can strip.

This shampoo is designed to give you the extra vitamins, moisture, and damage repair that you need. It doesn’t strip color, so if you color your hair AND your hair is damaged: you are in luck!

This fortifies your hair, makes it soft but not too soft, very manageable, and extremely healthy. People worry about putting too many proteins in the hair (which can cause breakage and damage) but because these proteins are from SOY- it will HELP your hair and is safe to use daily.

Although I only received a small bottle of this, I felt that it lasted longer than any other “sample” shampoo’s would. I washed my hair (which is LONG) everyday for about 2 weeks with just a small bottle. Think about that. If I had gotten a bigger bottle, I think I could have made it last for 3-4 months. It only took about a nickel size amount to wash my entire hair. Which is saying quite a lot.

With most other shampoo’s I have to use a half dollar size amount to even come close to covering my entire hair. This Pureology shampoo is concentrated though. It has more bang for the buck!!

Repairing products are fit for broken and damaged hair shafts. It fills in the weakened spots with what they need to be healthy and beautiful. If your hair isn’t damaged or broken, I would suggest looking into another line of shampoo and conditioners that Pureology sells. If you use a repairing shampoo that has protein in it, without having anything to repair- it can have a reverse effect on your hair and make it brittle (after a long period of time).

It smells like a tropical smell (which I love). I thought of tanning lotion  and the beach every time I opened the bottle… MMM Who wouldn’t want to laze around on a beach just thinking of nothing to do all day? ME

I love this shampoo. If you have damaged, broken hair- this shampoo would definitely help to give your hair the nutrients, hydration, and protein that it’s lacking. Split ends and broken hair are turned into shiny, frizz free, naturally beautiful hair.

 

ESSENTIAL REPAIR-THE CONDITIONER

Infused with natural botanicals, herbs, biotin, and soy proteins; this conditioner soaks into the hair to give it the healthiness it’s craving. It provides both moisture AND strength without making hair oily or greasy OR weighing it down.

It works very well when used with the shampoo. I usually leave shampoo in for about 1-2 minutes and conditioner for about 3-4 minutes before rinsing. This way my hair can soak up the goodies in the products.

Most moisturizing products make my hair oily. It’s naturally OILY, but moisturizing products mixed in with the natural oiliness usually has me washing my hair daily.

I really liked that I could have skipped days if I wished. My hair never once looked greasy, oily, or weighed down on the second day. Which is a huge plus for my long hair.

I really enjoyed using both of these products. It smells like summer time, feels amazing, isn’t hard to wash out, and helped the split ends. Who could complain? Not this girl.

I have worked with Pureology before and AM totally amazed with their products. I used the Volume Mousse and Anti-split blow dry before- and still won’t blow-dry my hair without them. Adds volume, protection, and helps keep hair from becoming damaged.

I would definitely recommend these to anyone having hair dilemma’s.!

I received a pair of Realflex by Reebok. These shoes are absolutely amazing. They have so many different color choices in these shoes.. I tried to get the Sushi Green ones, because you KNOW how much I adore the Lime Green. Unfortunately they were out of stock in my size, so I chose the black ones.

I’m really glad I chose the black ones, because they look so AMAZING with anything that I wear. No matter if it’s jeans, dress pants, shorts, or capri’s. And they came in sizes 6.5-11!

They are SO easy to keep clean. All I have to do is wipe them with a wet washcloth and they come clean. I try to do this every couple of days. If you clean your shoes well, and keep up with maintenance they will last a lot longer than if you just wear them and tear them!
These shoes are SO comfy. As soon as I put them on, I didn’t even feel like I even had shoes on. They were molded to my feet. They are so lightweight that it’s easy to run, jog, or chase kids all over the yard. They fit like a dream. Out of all the shoes I’ve ever worn, this is the best pair of comfortable running shoes I’ve ever had.

I have been wearing these shoes non-stop for a few weeks now. I am absolutely thrilled with these shoes. They are amazing and they are so  comfortable. I’ve had MANY MANY people comment on the shoes. Asking where I got them, and telling me “Awesome Shoes”.

They have Men and Women’s clothing and shoes. So you can choose to search by women or men styles or go straight for different brands.When you click on the Women/Men, it brings up the different categories that are available. They have (in Women’s) Shoes, Tops, Bottoms, Accessories, Dresses, and clearance.


They have so many different types of shoes to choose from as well. If you click WOMEN –> Shoes, it brings up Athletic, Boots, Casual, Comfort, Dress, Rain Boots, Sandals, Slip Ons, and Western Boots.




At any other online store, they basically only offer certain types of shoes. They don’t offer as many choices as Street Moda does. You can’t beat the prices either. The Realflex Reebok were $90 retail but only $79.99 on Street Moda. So, you can buy these $10 cheaper than anywhere else on the market.


I am loving these jeans. Both pair look awesome. The first and second pair look amazing with high heels, but they would also look amazing with boots, flip flops, sandals, or sneakers.

Look at the Affliction Tshirt & Jacket. They have tons of affliction clothing. They are all VERY well made and look so classy and stunning. I would definitely love to wear these.
This is basically a one-stop shop for everything. They even sell socks and sunglasses. I LOVE this shop, and you will also.

I have used fabric softener and dryer sheets forever. I thought that it made my clothes smell much better and helped to keep that smell in. Who doesn’t like to pick up a shirt, put it on, and have it SMELL amazing? Well I couldn’t pass up on it, until I found out about all the nasty chemicals that they contain!

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and industry-generated Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) from the 1990s, the following is a list of chemicals in fabric softener products, most in untested combinations. Liquid fabric softeners additionally may contain formaldehyde.

• Benzyl acetate: Linked to pancreatic cancer.
• Benzyl Alcohol: Upper respiratory tract irritant.
• Ethanol: On the EPA’s Hazardous Waste list and can cause central nervous system disorders.
• Ethyl Acetate: A narcotic on the EPA’s Hazardous Waste list.
• Limonene: Suspected Gastrointestinal or Liver Toxicant, Immunotoxicant, Kidney Toxicant, Neurotoxicant, Respiratory Toxicant, and Skin or Sense Organ Toxicant.
• Pentane: A chemical known to be harmful if inhaled.
• A-Terpineol: Can cause respiratory problems, including fatal edema, and central nervous system damage.
• Chloroform: Neurotoxic, anesthetic and carcinogenic.
• Camphor: Causes central nervous system disorders.
• Linalool: A narcotic that causes central nervous system disorders.

 

I really had absolutely no clue about all these chemicals until recently. When I found out about all those chemicals, I immediately started looking into an eco-friendly alternative to dryer sheets.

About the creator of Woolyrounds:

I learned about wool dryer balls in 2009.  When we made the decision to cloth diaper our son, I realized that we would have to give up using dryer sheets.  At first I really was sorry to see them go.  They eliminated static, and added very fragrant smells to our laundry. 

But after doing some research, and learning about the harmful chemicals that are in dryer sheets and the negative impact they can have on clothes and on your dryer, I was happy to make a change and consider a more natural, healthy alternative.  That’s when I discovered wool dryer balls.  I purchased some online, they worked great and I started to see all the benefits that they offered, but the quality was lacking and only lasted a few months before they started to unravel.  So, I gave it a shot and tried to make some of my own.

I have a creative background and have always loved to make things so it was and is a lot of fun going through the trial and error stage to come up with a solid finished product.  During this time, I had taken New Ventures course through Women Work and Community and have known for awhile that I wanted to start and run my own business.  In October 2010, I launched WOOLY ROUNDS.  I love that this business is really about providing a sustainable alternative that will help protect your family’s health and that helps to reduce our impact on the environment.

For use: For first use, twist pen several times until product is dispensed. Apply to dry, chapped skin, lips and clean cuticles as needed.

This is shaped like a pen. You take off the top lid and rotate the bottom (like a chapstick tube) until the ointment comes out of the top. You can then use it on your lips or cuticles (or both).

This is such an amazing little tool. It intensely rehydrates dry, cracked, and chapped lips and skin. This isn’t just for lips, it is also a cuticle care tool as well. As you can tell the top of the tool is a cuticle pusher.

This replenishes dehydrated skin to give you immediate smooth, supple lips and cuticles. Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) gently exfoliate to smooth and revitalize while Lanolin protects skin or lips from the damaging effects of environmental exposure.

Vitamin E conditions and helps relieve chapped, cracked skin or lips. This is a gentle exfoliator, sealing in moisture to give you long-lasting moisture. It also protects from future damage. It has a very creamy texture, like a chapstick and lipstick mixed. It also smells great, like it has lavender oil infused inside it, so it’s relaxing as well as healing.

This has a very nice consistency. It’s not so thin that it has to be reapplied a lot, but not so thick that I feel like I have gunk on my lips. My lips are soothed, smoothed, and the dryness is completely gone.

As a cuticle care treatment, it works very quickly as well. My cuticles were cracked, dried out, and red. It has all the ingredients to soothe and treat, which is what I needed. It was to the point where my cuticles were actually hurting.

After using this about 2-3 times, my cuticles were definitely more hydrated and the redness was gone. It is in such a convenient tube, that it can fit inside my makeup bag inside my purse. I can pull this out whenever I need it and use it wherever I am.

Borghese Bronzer Brush & Lipcolour Review

Perla Duale High Impact Lipcolour

Borghese launched a lipstick line  in November 2010 called Perla Duale High Impact Lipcolour. There are six shades to choose from, and they are all very beautiful colors.  They range in colors, from pinkish, light brown, wine colors, to a darker more caramel brown.

These lipsticks were inspired by the fashion forward runways of Milan. The inner lipstick color is surrounded by a shimmery balm with a pearl colored finish.

 

The shades are Perla Nudo, Perla Café, Perla Fiamma, Perla Pesca, Perla Vino and Perla Rosa. Each tube is $24.50.

I received the Perla Café, which is a shimmery blushed rose color. I really like it, because it gives options. You can apply this straight from the tube to get the shimmery lighter color for work or a school meeting. For a night out on the town, you can use a lip brush to get a darker color with less shimmer.

The lipstick is very velvety feeling which feels amazing, and has a very long-lasting formula that holds on forever. It feels so luxurious on my lips, and has such a luminous shimmery opaque color. The lipstick contains Vitamins A, C, and E. The vitamins moisturize and nourish lips while also offering anti-aging benefits.

This lipstick is unlike any other because it also soothes the lips while on. In addition to having Vitamins A, C, and E; it also contains Chamomile and Aloe to soften and calm the lips.

I loved the uniqueness of the color.. Every lipstick I’ve ever tried have been mattes, shimmers, and satins. Never once have I tried a pearl finish lipstick, until now. This is new and fresh for me. The lipstick is classy, sophisticated, and rich.

If you have a lip brush, you could also use the pearl “balm” outside by itself, which also looks very unique. It gives off a frosty lipgloss look. I really like it!

*Twist the neck of the brush to the right and shake the brush gently to allow the powder to come through

*Sweep over face and body, or anywhere you want an instant glow. Avoiding eye area.

*When finished, twist the neck to the left to close the brush and keep powder from spilling out.

My Thoughts

I have had a shortage on tan skin this year. The only thing tan about me is my arms and my face, the rest of me is pale as pale can get. I used to go to the tanning bed, but without a baby sitter and $50 extra a month- I stopped going.

I started looking for other alternatives for dark, beautiful skin that doesn’t carry a risk of skin cancer. I didn’t use to think about things like that when I WAS tanning, but honestly- A girl that went to my high school died from over-tanning. She burnt her insides by tanning too much.

After that- I became leery of tanning. I started using bronzers and fake bake tanning lotions. I really liked this bronzer brush from Borghese. They know just how to make a lady feel beautiful. ;}

In the morning, I spend about thirty minutes trying to warm up my complexion with make-up. I put on mineral liquid foundation, mineral powder foundation, blush (bronzer), and usually fake-baked bronzing cream on my body.

This bronzing Brush is amazing because you can twist the neck of the brush to turn on the glittered bronzer. This releases the bronzer so you can put it on without too much spilling out on you all at once. After you turn the neck on, turn it sideways and shake it a little, then turn it back off. THEN you can put it wherever you want it!

This doesn’t make me look unnatural and my skin doesn’t look like it’s covered in fake bake bronzer. You can apply this on your face, cheeks, shoulders, arms, and legs.. Wherever you want a sun-kissed glow to be.

This bronzer is fragrance free, talc-free, and free of mineral oil. As soon as you apply this, you can tell that it has these tiny flecks of shimmer that make even the lightest skin seem bronzed. So, whether you have light or dark skin. this will NOT look unnatural on you.

This isn’t the same as a fake-bake, so if that’s what you think this is, it isn’t. This is for someone who just wants to add a little shimmery bronze to their day or night.

I love wearing this. I feel so fresh, natural, and beautiful. What woman DOESN’T want a shimmery bronzed look without all the heaviness? I’ve had too many issues over the years of real body fake-bakers gone bad.. Knees and elbow, ankles, and face globs.. This doesn’t create any of that.

Just gently shake the brush onto your skin as much or as little as you need.
