I have a label fetish, I admit it. If I could manage it, everything in my house would be labeled. I think it is such a great organizing solution, while keeping kids from fighting and me from losing stuff.

Most schools today ask that everything that is brought with kids to school be labeled with their names to avoid confusion and mix-ups. Whether it be jackets, backpacks, binders, lunch boxes, or notebooks.

If we lived in the olden days, we mom’s would have the problem of hand sewing all the names into clothing.. What a hassle that would be. We already have to get the kids to school fully clothed with no mismatching sock and shoes, with a backpack on, homework done, and lunch to eat.. Who has time to hand sew labels? Not me.

And not a lot of other people do, either.. That’s why lovable labels has become to go to site for labeling.. I really liked these labels. They have enough stick on them to stick perfectly without peeling, yet not enough sticky that you think you may never get it off your fingertips, let alone on SOMETHING. They were just right. They went on without a hassle, and are adorable.

My kids loved the labels. Adisyn kept trying to get in them because she wanted to use them as “stickers” and “tattoo's” for her.

We got to choose from the icons below. So we got the football for Aidan and the butterfly for Adisyn. So these aren’t gender bias or age bias, you can find an icon for any age. Even if they are older, or you want to buy some for yourself, you can choose to get “no icon.”

My Review
It’s sad to say on my part, but I have never used a “green” product to clean my house, other than dishwashing liquid. I always thought that unless you could smell the “chemicals”, it wasn’t clean enough. Oh boy, was I wrong. Not only was I hurting the environment by using the chemically induced cleaners, but natural products work even BETTER than I thought they might.
I was drawn to these products because of their names. I love the names Sinky, Trashy, and Flushy. They are just so catchy and “different” in a cleaning product. Wouldn’t you just love to leave this out in the open for people to see? What would they think or say? I can’t think about it without laughing. How could they have names like that and NOT be fun to use? 
Flushy

The first product I used from the Natural House: Probiotic Cleaning Solutions line was Flushy. I wouldn’t have thought that a natural cleaner could do all the things that Flushy does. I always thought it needed chlorine to pass the “clean” test. I admit I was WRONG,  iffy about it, and am now ok to say that I was definitely Wrong. These aren’t words you hear come out of my mouth often, so yes, it was amazing. It is a little packet (like the dishwashing packets) that sort of resemble tiny little pillows.
You just drop it in and watch it foam, wait 5-10 seconds, and then scrub with a toilet brush. It helps to work on hard water stains and mineral deposits on and in the bowl.
It isn’t just a toilet bowl cleaner though, it is also a septic and drain cleaner. So your getting more than 1 product actually. The probiotics travel through your pipes and dissolve anything that may be clogging or stopping it up. It takes out K.O. toilet paper and waste build-up to help you maintain a healthy pipe system.
I had never even actually heard of a product that does THIS. I have heard of products that help AFTER you already have clogs and a stopped up septic system, but never anything to PREVENT it. Now I have. I’m not sure how I lived without it.
Now I am addicted want more. I don’t see how I could possibly live without it now. It takes away the worry that something might happen. I mean, who wants to DEAL with something like this? Certainly not me. I have plenty to deal with as it is. This takes ALL the hassle out of cleaning the toilet. Who wants to use harsh chemicals if they don’t have to?
Trashy

I am IMPRESSED to the fullest with Trashy. I have never had cleaning a trash can be so easy in my life. I used to take it in the bathroom, fill it up with hot water drop in some dishwashing liquid and scrub. Then dump the dirty water into the toilet, and then rinse and repeat. I hated this. Not only was cleaning the trash a hassle, but it SMELLED horribly. I had tried everything under the sun to try and rid the trash smells, and Notta- nothing. No results. I ended up buying a new trash can every year.
I have had some garbage bags leak and leave a mess in the trash. Let me tell you- it wasn’t such a pleasant site (or smell). I have to admit that when I am washing dishes I scrape the leftovers in the trash. Old food in the bottom of the trash can never be a good thing, right? Right. So when I used Flushy, I was immediately in LOVE.
I was seriously EXCITED to find something that not only took the smell away but made it easier on me to clean. What mom, wife, woman could argue with that? Just because cleaning NEEDS to be done, doesn’t mean I jump for joy when I have to do it. I already have 2 tornados as children who love to make messes for me to pick up.
All you do is spray Trashy in the sides and on the bottom of your trashcan and let it air dry before adding another garbage bag. Who knew cleaning could be so easy?
Sinky

This is also a “pillow” type little packet that you drop in the drain. You turn the hot water on for 5-10 seconds and watch it dissolve. Pretty cool way to wash all those oils, grease, and germs down without worrying about it. I haven’t had problems of back-ups, but with the rate that we drain hamburger meat and such- it was bound to become a problem at some point.
Sinky takes the old food and grease smell away immediately. All you smell is freshness and CLEAN. A sink? Yes. A clean smelling sink, without using bleach or other harsh products. I didn’t think it was possible. I also didn’t think it was possible that I would REMEMBER to put the packet in WEEKLY without writing a reminder to myself. Promise not to laugh, giggle, or choke a little on your spit? I found myself trying to put Sinky in before the week was over.
Was it because I liked watching them foam and dissolve? Was it that I KNEW my drain was clean? Was it because it was easy peasy and smelled AWESOME?

My Review

Say bye-bye to paper with the LCD Boogie Board Tablet from Improv Electronics. It comes in  8 different colors. Black, White, Red, Yellow, Green, Pink, Cyan, Silver, and Gold. It is very lightweight weighing only 4 ounces, and very thin at 1/8”.

The Boogie Board makes writing and drawing fun. I received the original 8.5” Black Boogie Board. It comes with a stainless steel stylus pen, a screen cleaner, and instructions.

Although it comes with a stylus, you can use any non-marking, non-scratching instrument to write on it. You can even use the tip of your finger or your fingernail to create or write. The harder you push down on it, the stronger the lines are. Just apply pressure and ta-dah, your creation is in front of you.

The Boogie Board doesn’t require complicated software, and nothing to install. Just pull it out of the package and get to writing or drawing.

I like this product though. Even though it doesn’t have an attached stylus, I will just have to make me a cute little carrying case with a pen pouch at the front. They do sell cases, I just think it would be awesome to have one I made. I have been trying to teach the kids to write and count, and the Boogie Board is perfect for that.

I can write it lightly and have them trace it. Erase it, and go again. It is amazing for saving paper, and is fun for the kids. They get into learning more when they get to use the Boogie Board.

Adisyn is my little artist. She LOVES drawing. So much in fact, that now I have to repaint her bedroom door. She snuck into my “office” and got the fabric paints and permanent markers one day when I was washing dishes. So needless to say, I have her masterpiece all over the door.

This helps her with writing, and keeps her from writing all over everything else. I can just sit her down with the ewriter and let her draw her heart out. It makes my heart swell when she comes up to me with it and says “I made this for you mommy”. She just nods her head and smiles at me real big. =) Gotta love her creativity.

Aidan likes it also. He is more into trucks then drawing, but when he seen this he went crazy. I actually had to stop them from quarreling over it. I had to make them take turns.

The only thing I dislike about the Boogie Board is that the stylus isn’t attached. With kids who love to steal my pens and run off, I lose pens A LOT. Although it isn’t expensive to replace, it would just be the hassle of replacing it. I wish it had at least some sort of slot to stick the pen. The screen doesn’t light up, so in a lower light setting it might be hard to see.

The stylus is VERY awesome. It seems like it would be expensive because it is so accurate at writing, but it isn’t. I was astonished at how well the Boogie Board grasps each pen stroke. It feels just like writing on a piece on paper.

This isn’t like an Ipad or other active “tablet”. It is just a fun item to use when taking notes, making lists, or in my case- teaching my kids how to write.

I love how the battery is for life. You can use this 500,000 times. Can you do this with a notepad, sticky pad, or sketchpad? Sure can’t. If you had the New Ewriter, you can save your designs. Unfortunately on the original you can’t. It’s good for writing tasks and lists and taking them with you. It’s small enough to fit in a purse, yet big enough to not get lost.

Other Items they carry

They have made other products after the original. They now have a Tablet for binders. This is the same size as the original, but clips into 2, 3, and 4 ring binders. This would be perfect for a teacher, a coach, or a college student. Take notes or write down reminders, keeping them organized in a fun way. This only comes in black.

Now they have a 10.5 ewriter, so you have more room to write or draw. You can now create more with more space.  This is great for college students or artists. More room to doodle, or solve that complicated Math task. This also has the Stylus clip on the top. Only comes in black.

 

They also have the more advanced RIP tablet. It is more expensive, but allows you to do more things. You can save your work on this one, and upload it to your computer for later. I love this one. I could seriously benefit from it. As much as I write, I would save TONS of paper by being able to upload my work from the tablet to pc. You can even share your notes.. *Free Ground Shipping

BodyGlove.com Review

Adam and I are waiting for our taxes to come. We filed last Thursday and they told us it should come within 7-14 days. The first thing I am doing is getting a car, the second is saving money for a vacation.
Since we have had kids, we haven’t had an entire weekend to ourselves. We need this time as a couple to experience some FUN. We spend all our days working and taking care of the kids. So, needless to say, there isn’t much time for excitement on a daily basis.
I have never been to Florida, and am checking that out. I think it would be fun to spend a weekend (or 4 day weekend) without the kids in the Sunny fun of Florida. I have been looking online at all the fun things we can do.
I would really love how to waterski, surfing, or go deep sea diving. Getting into a wetsuit sounds weird to me though. BodyGlove has some pretty awesome ones. I have never even thought about wearing one before, but what the heck- Maybe wetsuits will be sexy on us!
