If you want to learn to crochet..

My aunt crochet’s & she is really good at it. When my mom’s sewing machine broke down on me last year (before I got mine)..I was thinking of other crafty things to do…so the book dork in me (as in: the librarians know me by name & the way I get things done at the library)..which is I research books I want before I get there & then browse around a minute… but anyway I went & checked out possibly every book I could on crochet. It taught me alot (but teaching yourself from a book is a lot harder than having someone there to show you what’s going on)..

Here are a few that have actually HELPED & not made me think “what I am doing to myself?”..

Here are some YouTube video’s that also helped..

2. How to make a chain stitch

Random Sites That I love

Random Sites that I love…

Narrative Writing Tutorial

“A narrative tells a story. Telling a story aloud is very different from writing a story down on paper. When a story is told out loud, we tend to "hop around", leave out important details, and forget to explain characters. In a sense all of that is okay, our gestures, expressions, and tones of voice can carry a lot of information. The reader of a written narrative expects more and needs more. The story cannot be simply "talk written down.”

When to call the doctor if the baby has a fever.

My son and daughter (Aidan and

Adisyn) got sick a little while ago and

all I could think about is..Should I call

the doctor or should I just keep giving

them Fever Reducer. Things like that do

scare me, because Aidan was an

extreme preemie. He was born at 24

weeks (16 weeks premature). I just

thank God for an awesome hospital-

    The University of Louisville

    Anyway..back to the point.

When do you KNOW to call the

    pediatrician, or treat at home.

I subscribe to PARENTS via email.

    & I got this..

    clip_image001[7]

    The No-Panic Guide to Fevers

They also have an article called “When to

call the Doctor if the baby has a fever”

I hope I’m not going to get in trouble for

copywriting if I post this on my blog. I just

think the site is fun and informational

and wanted to share it’s contents.

    Please head on over to

    Parents & start your own

    Mommy notebook

    You can save articles

    to your notebook so you

    can access them anytime.

    They have awesome

    recipes for babies and

    toddlers.

    send me some links..
